I ditto nienke.
Uni with many active members including very resourceful-experienced fc and players should go on trig mother ships with many unistas along. Also faction wars too.

As to which classes are currently being offered I suspect that the preferred link is https://www.eveuniversity.org/events/.

E Uni as a Corp cant participate in Faction Warfare due to the impact on standings for every member of the corp.

That being said there are more than one E Uni Alt FW Corps out there (I myself made one ^^') that you can join on one of your alts.
I Recommend a dedicated FW alt for this so you simply "dont have to care" about any standings troubles.
Depending on the scopee you want to partake in FW a few weeks of training time will be mroe than enough!
Feel free to contact me for more information :)

I will tackle this one from an Abyssal filaments perspective beginning with frigate teams, followed by solo frigate, and then see where it goes. I will put together a presentation and have already been scheming a way to do practicals. I may ask some of you to join me on some exploratory sessions prior to delivering the classes. I'll plan to have the first class beginning in January and will get it scheduled ASAP.

there have been a couple recently - Falling Snow was the teacher.
I am sure he will be happy to give you some pointers and schedule a new class soonish .

Have you looked at the wiki series of pages on PI ?

What's a good day of the week / time period for you Rimbol? I could do an Intro to PI with an optional practical exercise afterwards, where I take you step by step through an actual PI setup. I'm usually on any day from 0215 EVE time. Some other days earlier... let me know. The Intro + practical can take up to 2 hours if we do it nice and slow, leave no capsule behind.

I'd like to attend a Scouting 101 with practical in USTZ (2300-0500 UTC), any campus is fine for me.

Nice! Thanks! If you want to be accommodating to the majority of USTZ, 0200 UTC is 6pm PST for the West Coasters.

How about a workshop-like class, where newer pilots can bring in their Frankenstein fits and get contructive feedback on them?

1. Can't people just post their fits in the ingame chat and get advice there?

Yes, but a spoken dialog between the Newbro's and the advisor
a) has the potential for better advice (tailored towards the players planned activities, playstyle and skills) and
b) can be quite educational for any other Newbro listening (getting to know the reasoning why item x doesn't suit the fit and why item y would be better, what tradeoffs to make to safe the last 2% powergrid, etc.)

2. But Marek, BLAPs exist for a reason, as do their highend-counterparts.

Yes, but
a) there is a lot of room between the BLAPs and their top-end upgrades. The approach "upgrade as you see fit and your skills allow" might be obvious for experienced players, but there seem to be some avoidable traps for Newbros to be found.
b) don't we all wanna be special unicorns and make fits that are kind of our own?

I had the idea while listening to Drebin 679 during his Q&A class right now, where he spent some time, advising a fellow student on a Vexor fit. All i could think was "Hey, i'd gladly listen to more of this."

This is something that my mentors do with their charges on a 1-2-1 basis. That's not to say a workshop is not needed because it would be useful!

I would like to request an Overview Settings and Use class. While there is lots of great information on the Wiki about it I believe it would helpful to us Newbros if an experience pilot walked and talked us through it. Thanks!

On another note I was trying to post this on my tablet and when I tried the "Save, Preview, Submit" tabs would disappear. (??????)

Overview class is in the works. It should be delivered in the next week or so.
