Combat recons generally shouldn't fit guns. If you have the cap, throw on some smartbombs for clearing drones.

Agree with Raido on the guns, I don't see any occasion where you'll need the additional 150 dps more than clearing a swarm of drones.

AB version I used for long range BC/BS fleets :

Overdrive Injector System II

You can remove the cyno and/or drone link augmentor for a third SB and/or a whoring gun.

If the fits are going to include more expensive variants like faction disruptors, shouldn't they have the true sansha/dark blood ones for the 56km point?

Why AB for shield fit? 800m/s ... is so low... What if opponent kites? Again, not criticizing, learning.

And another question about SB type: why EMP? Any specific reason? I guess it does not really matter?

The longer range the better, but the price is higher. I would say Lachesis deserves at least Caldari Navy one, and the more pilot can afford to lose the better is for the fleet.

For the Armor variant, we also need improvements, the current one has only 3 modules in low. Is the same logic applicable: Smart Bombs instead of guns. Something like this?
Currently published fit is MWD, keep it? Does an armor fleet need MWD Lachesis? Better to have AB for sig tank, this will also let to use T2 plate.

Depends what the use is and what ship it is. Small gang setups with combat recons will probably want to be fitting weapons. Rooks can deal some decent damage with RLMLs for instance.

When I used to run small-med sized armour brawling gangs in lowsec I very much enjoyed FCing from this fit (and variants upon it).

You can simultaneously lock down your target and ruin most if not all of your opponents logistics wing, while having a surprisingly large tank. T2 hulls are a touch more expensive these days but should still do the job if you're rolling Mallers or Thoraxs or something.

For shield skirmish gangs, you have a lot of variability and the Lach pilot should be making decisions before they undock dependant on gang size:
Spoiler
[Lachesis, Skirmish Support]

Damage Control II
Power Diagnostic System II
Power Diagnostic System II
Nanofiber Internal Structure II

50MN Microwarpdrive II
Republic Fleet Large Shield Extender
Republic Fleet Warp Disruptor
Republic Fleet Large Shield Extender
Adaptive Invulnerability Field II
Medium Capacitor Booster II, Navy Cap Booster 800
EM Ward Field II

[Empty High slot]
[Empty High slot]
[Empty High slot]
[Empty High slot]

Medium Core Defense Field Extender II
Medium Core Defense Field Extender II
This is effectively the "base" of the fit you're looking at, swapping Diags to Nanos if your gang is significantly faster than 2k/s. Highs/Drones are entirely situational and dependant on the fleet you are supporting.

Oh, source: https://zkillboard.com/character/639451688/topalltime/

I have got more kills in a Lach than any other, it's one of my favourites.

Published Apothne's MWD Shield Kiter and AB Armor Brawler. I guess MWD Armor possible only by sacrificing tank yet won't give any significant advantage so that will be 2 fits only.
