Re: [Q&A] Every Sunday 03.00 Game Mechanics Q&A

Starting Sunday, March 23rd, 2014 (2014-03-23), the first session will move to 02:00 because of Daylight Saving Time in the United States. Americans will not see a time change, so it will still be 10 PM Eastern, 7 PM Pacific, but students in other countries will need to adjust accordingly.

Starting Sunday, March 30th, 2014 (2014-03-30), there will be a second session every Sunday starting at 19:00 EVE Time to accommodate students in other timezones. To be clear, there will be two sessions every Sunday.

This session will not take place the weekend of Fanfest. It will resume the week after.

Re: [Q&A] Every Sunday 03.00 Game Mechanics Q&A

I forgot to schedule the 19:00 session, and there's now a different class in that slot. So, for today only, the 19:00 session will be at 20:00. (For My Fellow Americans, that's 4 PM Eastern, 1 PM Pacific.)

Re: [Q&A] Every Sunday 03.00 Game Mechanics Q&A

Due to the CSM9 Townhall Meeting, the June 22nd, 19:00 session is being moved to 5 minutes after the TownHall ends. Presumably, this will be 20:30, but may be off by 30 minutes in either direction.

Due to the Ask The Management Q&A, the June 29nd, 19:00 session is being moved to 5 minutes after Ask The Management ends. Presumably, this will be 20:30, but may be off by 30 minutes in either direction.

Re: [Q&A] Every Sunday 03.00 Game Mechanics Q&A

I attended part of this class as it was one of the few scheduled in my timeframe. I'm sure the class was excellent, and Seamus sounds like an excellent instructor however I felt like this class was probably a graduate level class as most of the things discussed while I visited were a bit beyond my grasp at the moment. I did not want to slow the progress as the bulk of the people actively participating in the discussion understood, I think, most of the explanations.

This is absolutely not my intent. If ever an attendee doesn't understand an answer, then please say so. I will go back and explain any needed underlying basics. That's the entire point of the class.

...or, at the very least, forum PM me follow-up questions.

Re: [Q&A] Every Sunday 03.00 Game Mechanics Q&A

The 19:00 session of Game Mechanics Q&A on Sunday, August 24, 2014 is cancelled due to a schedule conflict with a more important event at that time. I'll post a reminder as the date draws closer.

The date is not a typo. This is for August 24, 2014 (2014-08-24), so this cancellation notice is 7 weeks early.

Great session! Great for those who just want to learn all sorts of new things (relatively new players of EVE).

Re: [Q&A] Every Sunday 03.00 Game Mechanics Q&A

I forgot to announce this earlier, but due to real life, the 02:00 session on Sunday, August 17th, (TOMORROW) is cancelled. The 19:00 session will continue as planned.

For My Fellow Americans, this means that the Saturday evening session (10 PM Eastern, 7 PM Pacific) is cancelled, but that the Sunday (3 PM Eastern, 12 PM Noon Pacific) session will continue as planned.

I'll yank the 02:00 session off the Calendar when I log into game, tonight.

Re: [Q&A] Every Sunday 03.00 Game Mechanics Q&A

Glad to be of help!

...

The 02:00 session Sunday, September 14, 2014 is cancelled because I might be elsewhere in Real Life and unable to get on Mumble. For My Fellow Americans, that's Saturday, September 13, 2014, 10 PM Eastern, 7 PM Pacific. I will update the Calendar when I get a chance.

The 19:00 session should take place as usual, assuming that calendar.eveunviersity.org is correct and there are no surprise CSM Townhall Meetings or anything similarly important waiting to pounce on the timeslot without warning. For My Fellow Americans, that means the Sunday 3 PM Eastern, 12 PM Noon Pacific session is on as normal.

Thank you for all the information on planetary interaction. I feel like I was the only one interested on something more than just fits and PvP... :D

Re: [Q&A] Every Sunday 03.00 Game Mechanics Q&A

I had some very stupid questions compared to other people, but they still were answered. This is definitely a recommendation for beginners.
