Well being Alliance Director recommends her for this kind of talk - but probably her years and years as CEO and leader of Eve University might be even better :D

Could we get a class on PI for the EU timezone?

Martine DeVu was kind enough to upload his recordings on the last bunch of PI classes he did:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mxBJwd ... e=youtu.be

I hope this can bridge you over until we get a new round on the way :)

I've seen a lot of questions (and have some myself) around UI and keybindings. Going over how to make changes and recommending some layouts/bindings for more effecient gameplay would be really useful, I think.

That is a very individual topic (especially keybinding and hotkeys).
For the Overview I full recommend the Eve UNi Overview (with added Loot and Mining tabs ;) .
As to Where you put what window: Again very depending on how big your screen is and "what feels good".

Feel free to reach out to me ingame/discord/mumble if you want to talk about this stuff and see my personal setup (and get a link to my overview setting:) ). I would recommend bringing it up with others in coms aswell, since there is not one "right way" of going about this stuff and you got to go with what feels good for you:)

ALl that beign said we are working on a general Overview class thing ;)

Pathfinder class would be nice.

I used the old mapper a lot so am familiar with the whys and what fors, but as a tool, Pathfinder isn't intuitive and I found unsure how to use it properly in collaboration with other unistas.

We use it a lot in WHC and do "unofficial" introductions whenever we got a bunch of new people coming in.
Whilst we don't have a "propper" pathfinder class I am happy to give you a little one-on-one for the basics.
(I am sure the same goes for many others aswell :) )
Once you got your head around it it is actually quite handy and nice to use.

Many of these are regular classes - keep an eye on the forum here, and the in game calendar!

I periodically teach the Intro to Industry class, that introduces those industry topics.

Logi and scouting are frequently reoccurring classes - taught by our teaching manager himself frequently! The logistics class is even available in a 15 minute video version here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=k7bVmMjF_kQ

Tackle and EWAR are less regular - but we’ll see if someone steps up off this post, and my repeating the request in discord.

Tank - unfortunately less frequent - but damage types are on the teaching department’s slate for updating CORE classes, all the same.

Practical PvP - keep an eye out for a class announcement, hopefully soon!

I’ll link your thread here in the discord teaching channel - but as I mentioned, keep an eye on the forums for upcoming class posts!

Great list!

As for practical PVP:
A lot of the campuses (campi?) hold regular 'fightclubs' where you jump into T1 frigats and go 1on1. More expirenced players offer feedback and it's a greta way to get your feet wet and ask specific situation-based (or braoder) questions :)

I shall try to get to a Intro to scouting soon (TM) - maybe next week on the weekends if my schedule allows :)

Sounds great,
Haven't seen any of those in the calender yet, but I'll keep my eyes open.
Looking forward to some of those.

I'd like a class on being a Mercenary as a career. I've seen this from the Careers 101 Syllabus
Mercenary
If you can develop very high levels of combat skills, you can make a decent living by hiring your guns out to corporations that can use you for fighting pirates or war targets. Mercenaries are typically hired by large corporations who want something done without their name being all over it. A mercenary could also be a hired guard for miners, an extra hand in a full scale war, or an escort through low sec areas, among other duties.
If you are serious about being a gun for hire, joining a dedicated mercenary corporation is a good idea, as the one thing you need more than anything else as a "merc" is contacts.
I'd like some info on how to find jobs as a Mercenary, the skills you need and how it's different, along with what Mercenary corps are out there and how they are structured. Would really enjoy a practical component.

As for practical component, not sure how that would work. Uni is neutral so we don't take jobs from other corps. Generally pvp/structure bashes etc. we are doing is a practical component of Mercenary life as well, we just do it for Uni/fun not for isk.
