I don't think it did. Summer came, life got busy.
I will throw a couple on the schedule next week, one evening US time and one for next weekend.

Re: E-UNI: Class Request Thread
Folks, I am thinking about conducting a class on Advanced Command Destroyers and a 1 hours practice session on various techniques/situations you could use a the MJFD for.
I wanted to check if there will be sufficient interest in this class and if some/many of you could bring a command destroyer for the practicals.
best

Re: E-UNI: Class Request Thread
A lot of people were interested in this kind of stuff, and we did a practice session last time : http://forum.eveuniversity.org/viewtopi ... 4&t=100511. We discussed about planning another one, so I'm pretty sure you'll have numbers for your class. We were only 5 this time mainly due to an error with the time of the practice.Rudra Som wrote:Folks, I am thinking about conducting a class on Advanced Command Destroyers and a 1 hours practice session on various techniques/situations you could use a the MJFD for.

Re: E-UNI: Class Request Thread
fantastic Kora! Looks like the class is slotted in for the week after next
Folks, train up your command destroyers and attend this class if you wanna practice in your jump dessies! Every fleet must have a jump destroyer!
This class with cover:
1. Command Destroyers Introduction
2. Micro Jump Field Generator module and skills needed
3. Some sample fits that work better
4. Offensive vs Defensive field jumps
5. Various Combat Situations:
- how to jump targets off the gate (inbound & outbound)
- how to jump targets off the stations (inbound & outbound)
- how to jump your fleet into the middle of kitey gangs or away from them
- how to rescue an expensive friendly ship that has been pointed by enemy fleet tackle.
- how to separate Logi from their fleets
- how to achieve on grid separation against large enemy fleets - divide and conquer!
- how to get ALL/MOST of those nasty drones jumped 100km off your enemy fleet
- how to get your fleet to safety if you managed to jump into a nasty gang
- how to counter someones cyno drops!
- how to separate caps from their support and vice versa
- how to do a forward double jump (two simultaneous jumps for 200km reach)
- how to "Boomerang" a reverse double jump - literally bringing a target sitting at 100km to your fleet... Yes it is possible!!! best for cherry picking targets from the safety of their docking rings
Don't miss it... For details check the Weekly PvP Dynamics Class posting.

Re: E-UNI: Class Request Thread
Exploration 101 runs fairly regularly. Ran last week and I'll probably run it again week after next (need to do the class I canceled last week this week first )FooeyShoes Barkley wrote:Complete newbro here as you can probably tell by these class requests. I'd like to request the following:

Re: E-UNI: Class Request Thread
id like a class about scamming.
a class about ganking (solo and/or group).
Maybe a class about laying traps in 0 sec with a dictor (to kill targets solo or in a micro gang)
a class about baiting people with industrial/non-combat ships (that have pvp fit) and getting funny killmails.
a class about hunting people that do missions in 0/low sec.
maybe a class about spying too.
any of these?

Re: E-UNI: Class Request Thread
The fundamentals of these don't really change so navigate to http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/EVE_Unive ... ullduggery for a list of classes run in the past on these topics. We are Grey Jedi here in the UNI, so we can't actively engage in evil Hopefully your post will attract our list of alumni and Guest Lecturers who are currently in the Dark Side of EVE and they can run a new class.Saoirse Flowerchild wrote:id like a class about scamming.

Thanks for your interest, we'll see if we can get something on the calendar.
Meanwhile https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pcabm_U0dM and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ha-EtIPCfSY are worth watching in case you haven't seen them already.Saoirse Flowerchild wrote: Maybe a class about laying traps in 0 sec with a dictor (to kill targets solo or in a micro gang)

Re: E-UNI: Class Request Thread
Hi Unistas,
I'll start by saying thanks for everything! I've learned so much in such a short time. I'm sure I've just missed the previous offerings, but I'd really like:
Another Tackling 101 (since I probably just missed the last one)
A Scouting 101 or something like that (want to learn to scout without getting my fleet killed)
So you want to be an FC? (I'd like to FC eventually)
Thanks again for all the amazing stuff that E-Uni does.

Id also like a class about citadels.
Which kinds, what they can do, which citadel is best suited for what etc, how to defend them, how to kill them. etc.
