[COMPLETED] Intro to Fleet Fights with Practical 2024.06.01 18:30

Prepare for an action-packed class offering practical combat experience in fleet warfare. Participants will engage in a short lecture (15 - 20 min) followed by a practical session (60 - 90 min). The practical session will consist of dividing into two fleets and fighting each other with DPS (Merlin) and Logi (Burst) ships. This is intended to learn and apply your skills in a real combat environment, dealing damage and repairing your allies under the pressure of live fire. After each skirmish, we'll take a breather to answer questions and do a general review of what happened in the fight.

Besides the DPS and Logi roles, if you're feeling ambitious, here's your chance to step up and learn how to take command of a fleet as an FC. There will be prizes, based on a scoring system, for taking Logi and FC roles in each round. In addition to this, there will also be random attendance rewards, preferably for newer players.

All ships will provided you just need to show up and learn. They are based on the EUNI MER T1 Merlin and EUNI MER T1 Burst fits, from the Magic Merlins doctrine. The exact fits are shown below.
