[CLASS] 2024-02-25 22:00 Intro To Kiting Small Gang Tactics

Post by Azora Anzomi »

A class on how to Fly in small gang fleets, going over

How to manually pilot
Small Gang Roles and Tactics.

Small gang is the art of the few against the many, and represents some of the most challenging PVP skills in the game to master. Each ship flies, and fights at range, allowing you to fight against numerically superior opponents.

After Class we will have a practical where we break into two teams, appoint a fleet commander (a great chance for aspiring FCs) for each team, and Fight eachother to the Death (got to keep it real) using kiting small gang tactics. (should at least get base SRP for this... I think, working on that). Fleet will be in Slays, VII - Moon 3 Center for Advanced Studies School station

We will have the following ships on hand on contract, and as such, it is something of a prerequisite to participate to train to fly one of these. Even so, there will be a need for guys in cheep tackle slashers, maulsis, and griffon. All these fits are in the Kiting Small Gang doctrine on the uni auth page. https://auth.eveuniversity.org/fittings/doctrine/3/ and you can find the fits there.

T1 (and its T2 version) Omen
T1 (and its T2 version) Stabber
T1 (and its T2 version) Caracal
The Scythe
The Keres
Hyena
Stiletto
Malidiction
tackle slashers, maulsis, and griffon

Will try to set up for at least 3 fights.

Feel free to bring other ships with the following rules:
It will only be eligible for Base SRP (if SRP applies)
The cost of the ship and fit do not exceed 50 mill isk

Also, please refrain from bringing any blinged out pods for ship performance (no snakes...)
