The Forgotten Fleet will host another PRACTICAL (not slide-deck class in station) at NSC/PC9-AY on Combat D-Scanning and Probing to hunt ships at Combat Sites, Ore Sites, Safe Spots or at Missions Sites.

When: Tuesday 27th July, 18:30 EVE Time
Where: EVE-Uni NullSec Campus @ PC9-AY in Syndicate region
Comms: Private Mumble NSC Education channel and Discord class-presentation-channel
Duration: 1 and 1/2 hours

Topics Covered:
  • D-Scanning Combat Sites
  • Deploying Combat Probes
  • Combat D-Scanning Mission Sites and Safe Spots
  • Combat Probing Solo Hunter
  • Combat Probing Fleet Drop
  • Q&A
Requirements:
  • Be member of EVE University or the Alliance.
  • Private Mumble registration and access - make sure you have Mumble sorted out and operational well before the class begins. Use this guide for set-up: https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Mumble
  • Access to the EVE-Uni Discord. Use this guide for set-up: https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Discord
  • Bring any ship that you can fit with an Expanded Probe Launcher and Combat Probes, no need of Tech II or Tech III gear.
Additional information:
This is a PRACTICAL class hosted at EVE-Uni's NullSec Campus that has all the inherent risks of NullSec, although, the practical is designed to keep pilots as safe as possible, nonetheless, you must travel in and out of PC9-AY, therefore, mind your travel, in NullSec do not directly jump from in-gate (gate that you used to enter the system) to out-gate (gate to exit the system). So, from in-gate warp to a celestial close to the out-gate if possible, then, check if the gate is not bubbled (a interdiction mechanism that affects your warp engine) and clear of ships using your D-Scanner. Also you can use EVE Gatecamp to check your path in and out of NSC.
