An Intro to Faction Warfare with guest speaker No'vac from The Frog Pond

This class will consist of a quick theoretical lecture and Q&A session, followed by a fleet out of Stacmon.

When: Sunday, 2 June 2024, 18:00 EVE Time
Where: E-Uni Discord Class Channels, E-Uni Mumble Classrooms; 'Stacmon - The Quad' for practical part
Duration: ~ 2-3 hours
Instructor: No'vac

Student requirements:

• EVE Uni Mumble. Use this Guide for set-up

• You will need to enlist with Gallente militia for the fleet - make sure you've dropped out of any other militias at least 24hr in advance!
• Make sure you are in a clean clone!
• Ships will be available on contract in Stacmon

What can we expect for faction gain/loss?

Assuming you have no prior standing with FEDEF (Galmil NPC corp), no faction standing gains / losses. In rare cases with prior FEDEF standings, running plexes may result with a promotion that grants moderate Gallente faction standings and small loss to Caldari standings.

I dont get how you can do faction warfare without gaining/losing standing, but I'll guess I'll learn about that in the class
