The Graduates (TGRAD): Nullsec Corp, all TZ

Image

The TGRAD Code
* Sportsmanship in victory and defeat. (No smacking, chest beating, or whining.)
* Fair play in gaming. (No exploiters, scammers).
* Tough sheriff at home, good citizen abroad. (NBSI in 0.0, NRDS in lowsec).
* Good friend to friends. Killer of Killers. (Honorable diplomatic relations & anti-piracy).
* All-for-one, and one-for-all. Everyone fights.

TGRAD is looking for new members, and we love E-Uni so much, we originally named our corp after you! Join us and learn about 0.0 life and PvP. We have many ex-Eve University students in our ranks.

The Graduates is a 0.0 PvP corporation with an organizational ethos practically unique in EVE: white knight. TGRAD was founded by instructors, staff and graduates of Eve University in 2006, and quickly gained a reputation for punching above its weight while living in Pure Blind, the Drone regions, Syndicate, Fountain, Tribute, Delve, Curse, Tenal and Vale of the Silent. We are currently based out of Syndicate, and are part of the Initiative (INIT.) family.

TGRAD was founded by Manas and forged by Ronan Teisdari into a highly skilled and expertly organized corporation. Long-time acting CEO Zorts recently took over the reins as full CEO. Every facet of the organization is characterized by experience, generosity and maturity, giving you good natured, generous friends from a blend of experienced veterans and excitable recruits. Our members come from all over the world and from every walk of life. But they all have one thing in common: enjoying the vast expanses of Eve in the presence of positive like-minded individuals.

* Are looking for a corporation where the members are mature, good natured, generous friends, and hard fighters?
* Are you tired of the typical meta-gaming, back-stabbing, and smacking in PvP alliances that populate EVE currently?
* Are you a seasoned empire player who wants to try out 0.0 space and PvP?
* Are you a player who wishes to broaden their game and play experience without corporate/alliance tyranny?

Then join "The Graduates" corporation.

What are the advantages of joining "The Graduates"?
- Freedom to experience everything Eve offers whether its 0.0 space, PvP, Industry, Mining, Ratting, etc.
- 0.0 PvP focused with a PvP ship replacement policy.
- Miners are welcome to help maintain the Sov Indexes.
- Literally hundreds of grizzled Eve veterans with a wide range of 0.0 experience, who are willing and eager to mentor pilots newer to 0.0 PvP.
- An supportive atmosphere similar to that in Eve University.

What do we ask of members joining The Graduates?
- For E-Uni alumni, a minimum 5M+ SP (otherwise min of 15M SP), and completion of Eve-Uni PvP gang courses and PvP ops is highly recommended
- No offensive or foul language, bad behavior or illicit content
- A positive, friendly attitude
- Participation in corp/alliance events
- Must be able to at least fly a Stealth Bomber, such as: http://bit.ly/RQ30Mb

Re: The Graduates (TGRAD): Nullsec Corp, all TZ

I joined TGRAD from Eve University in June 2014. I have never looked back. In TGRAD I graduated from Stabber to Vagabond, from mission Drake to Maze Tengu, and from Iteron Mark V to Anshar. This progression was at my own pace in my own time. There is never any pressure to fly a certain ship in TGRAD. We can always use tackle, logi, ecm and dps.

In course I wrote about some of our many fights on our forum and became “Propaganda dude” for the corp. Later I joined the propaganda team for LAWN Alliance. You may also have seen my articles on Mittani. Want to see what kind of fights we get in null? Visit http://ionblacknight.blogspot.ca/

My buddy Corowyn, another ex-Eve Uni, joined TGRAD six months ago and is now TGRAD mining coordinator, playing an important role in helping to raise the administrative indexes in our systems. Yes, we mine! We mine well and we welcome fighting miners.

Many of our members are ex-Eve Uni, including our CEO. You could be the next one. Take that leap now. 0.0 is where the real EVE experience is and TGRAD is the best way to get there.

Re: The Graduates (TGRAD): Nullsec Corp, all TZ

Prior to July 2015 I had never been in nullsec instead keeping to my little corner of highsec. That all changed once I joined The Graduates. I am so thankful that I joined.

Let me tell you a little about my journey. I was a member of Eve University back in 2012. In 2015, after applying and being accepted to The Graduates, I sold the few ships and items I owned and arrived to null in a crow with little ISK in my pocket and a willingness to learn. I can't begin to put into words how helpful everyone in TGRAD has been. I owe all my success to my friends in TGRAD and the help that they provide in teaching me how to survive, and thrive, in nullsec. I learn something new every day and try to pass on what I have learned to others.

Currently I am the TGRAD Index FC Coordinator and a member of the LAWN ADM Management team. I spend a good amount of my time mining and have earned some nice ISK doing so. That being said, I don’t spend all of my time mining and am able to fly what I want, when I want, without any pressure.

If you've been living in highsec and are looking for a new experience I would suggest giving nullsec a try and talking with a TGRAD recruiter.

Why just read the stories that Ion Blacknight writes for The Mittani? Become part of the story.

Re: The Graduates (TGRAD): Nullsec Corp, all TZ

Was a fun day today!

Our neighbors in Geminate decided to use the relative safety of having most of us being in lowsec for a stratop to do a driveby under cover of a 70-man Mach fleet. Then things happened, and he eventually died:

https://www.themittani.com/news/avatar-down-vale

https://www.reddit.com/r/Eve/comments/4 ... n_to_lawn/

It is often a race against time during events like these where pilots and resources need to stay one ahead of their counterparts, adrenaline is pumping as you chase without getting killed for as long as possible, and make split second decisions that can have outsized impact on the outcome.

Come swing by '-TGRAD Pub-' and we can chat about how you can be part of that excitement, tension and euphoria too!

Re: The Graduates (TGRAD): Nullsec Corp, all TZ

If there's one thing I can say for these guys, it's they are 100% persistent. Camped me into a single system for over an hour because all my friends were blue to them. I ended up with like 30 safes - but iIt was a lesson for all of us I think ;)

If you see a hostile ONI on a gate, point it, don't all jump through :D , if you see a sabre sitting at one of your safes, don't be smart and try to kill it first before its friends arrive.

Useless living up to his name though I see. RIP CN BCS though :(

Re: The Graduates (TGRAD): Nullsec Corp, all TZ

The Graduates (TGRAD) describe themselves as ‘a large megacorp, with high activity and strong esprit d’corp.’ ‘Strongly PvP focused with a generous PvP ship replacement policy.’ They are well known for their policy of good sportsmanship, experienced player base and operating a Gentlemen’s Corporation in the Wild West of Nullsec. Recent losses in LAWN corporations has severely hindered their ability to field large fleets, and line members of The Graduates have suggested this as a major reason for moving on. TGRAD have a long history of PVP and an impressive killboard, and are generally viewed as a very active, well disciplined and experienced corporation. While LAWN retains combat effectiveness in the impressive activity of some few members of Jolly Codgers, and Big Diggers corporations, the actual number of PVP active players has dropped to 37 members in the last 7 days. While the TGRAD move doesn’t weaken the Imperium as a whole, the sudden drop in membership for LAWN will be even more keenly felt losing their principle PVP corporation.

TGRAD have chosen to join The Initiative. (INIT) Alliance, their allies in the Imperium with whom TGRAD have had a good, long standing relationship. They have joined their new alliance in Syndicate, where INIT have been staging along with members of Razor Alliance (now moved on, having left the Imperium) to take advantage of NPC Sov, the move made easier as many members of TGRAD had already been storing their assets not deployed in Saranen here, making for an easy transition. Strong feelings have been reported about leaving for Syndicate by members who wanted to hold their ground, but TGRAD members are still being encouraged to participate in Saranen and will still be a frequent sight in Imperium fleets. Line members have reported that there is no interest or plans to change the corporation ethos of good sportsmanship, fair play and ‘all for one, one for all’ approach to PVP and Alliance warfare, and that very little will change inhouse due to the move.

Re: The Graduates (TGRAD): Nullsec Corp, all TZ

Just had ourselves a nice little fight down in Great Wildlands. Plenty of content up in Syndicate as well, no matter which timezone you play in. If you've been thinking of making the jump to nullsec life, look no further than The Graduates.

Swing by-TGRAD Pub- today and speak with a recruiter.

TGRAD is turning 10 today!

Happy anniversary to all old and young space pilots part of our community :)

10 years ago Manas birthed the corporation, which subsequently got populated by eager EVE Uni pilots in September 2006 and laid the foundations for the succesfull corp we have been continuously for the last 10 years.

Re: The Graduates (TGRAD): Nullsec Corp, all TZ

Our alliance (INIT) does hold a small amount of null sov space and is working on gaining some more. We also collaborate with another sov holding alliance, so there are opportunities for TGRAD members to engage in ratting, mining, and other activities.

Current mechanics for defending sov space are not a lot of fun, so there are no plans to hold large amounts of space at this time.

Re: The Graduates (TGRAD): Nullsec Corp, all TZ

So today we were trying out a new RR Ishtar doctrine by index ratting in one of our sov systems, when a Vindicator passed by looking for pvp.
https://zkillboard.com/kill/56989041/
We had barely returned to our ratting when a Nightmare and Malediction tackled one of our guys in a nearby system.
https://zkillboard.com/kill/56989288/
By then it was almost time for an alliance op. On our way to staging we heard some of our guys had tackled a Hel.
https://zkillboard.com/kill/56990168/
They also killed a lot of other shiny ships that came to help it.
https://zkillboard.com/related/30003293/201611060200/
Our alliance op got under way, but unfortunately did not achieve it's objectives this time and we had to settle for killing a few dreads and a Fortizar.
https://zkillboard.com/kill/56991416/

Want to join in the fun? Hop into -TGRAD Pub- and talk to Tess or any of our recruiters.

Take the plunge, the water is fine.
