Picking through our fleetup, wiki, and various blogs, I've come up with initial fits for our core reshipping contracts. I'm not a great fitting person when it comes to pvp, but hopefully the fits below will at least give us a starting point to hold discussion and we can change and refine from there.

Remember that basic frigate fits are designed towards brand new alpha characters while the advanced frigate and the cruiser fits are geared more towards max skills alphas.

The fits use integrated kinetic drones. This is twofold: they are a nice midpoint of performance vs price compared to tech 1 and navy drones as well as kinetic is the best dmg type to shoot at Caldari faction warfare complex rats. There will be explosive and EM tech 1 small and medium drones stocked in corp hanger at staging system if you want to refit drones more for PvP.

Some of the basic frigates may struggle with running even novice plexes at first, but should quickly be able to get enough gunnery/missile skills to make killing the FW rat frigate easy enough. The advanced frigate fits should be able to easily handle killing the destroyers in small complexes. The cruiser fit will work for medium complexes easily enough, but may struggle to break the tank of the battlecruiser rats that live in large complexes. I would recommend either using a fit specifically designed to run plexes for ISK, or to get a friend. Any two people in cruisers will be able to make quick work of the battlecruiser rats in larges.

By the way we will probably have a new member incoming : Gilly Hakaari (his alt) will be joining us as well. He is former unista and is in Black Fox which is Gallente Militia corp for years.

With the help of Raido and Arnold on alumni chat, I've redone the Moa, Thorax, and Omen fits to no longer be buffer, but rather active rep fits. These should be far more suitable to solo/small gang PvP in FW plexes.

#01 : Please read all the posts in this thread if you did not already

#03 : Then after your alt invited to corp please send corp's CEO an EVE-Mail including your mail adress so you will also get invitation to Slack channel of the corp. We will move our planning and discussion to there very soon so we don't dominate comms here.
==> Before the end of this weekend I want to make sure that we will discuss and finalize those topics via meeting on voice comms or via slack discussion :
#01 : We are now staging from Caslemon, but I would like to hear more opinions so we can decide our final home so our logistics can start working on planning and logistics.
#02 : Basic and Advanced Frigate Fittings Discussion and Deciding on those fittings and then start hauling those ships to our staging area. (Frigate logistics, and Cruiser fits can be discussed next week, but I really like to decide on dps frigates this week so we can start flying doctrine ships)
#03 : I want this to be a big learning project for all of us therefore I like to keep discussion at public level in corp slack at first so we can all learn from each other experiences, however I also like to delegate things to interested parties soon (TM) like Logistics, Buyback, Fittings, Fleet Command (deployments and fleet actions with other groups maybe), Diplomacy, Human Resources etc. We will keep discussion open at first but after some time it will be good to leave planning and execution to officers. So we can set some initial groups for specific tasks so they can plan and execute things together. So i like to give people to opportunity to step up wit this discussion.
Those are the most pressing matters at the moment. After those if we still have time to discuss we can also discuss;

Basic and Advanced Frigate Fitting Suggestion Cont'd

The idea of Basic and Advanced Frigates for Fresh Alphas and Max Skill Alphas respectively is good. Eadrom I think you modified some of the very successful fits like Magic Merlin, Derptron and etc and they seem good. I also started doing some work on them. Hardest part is to find a fit optimized for running FW complexes and do occasional solo PvP and fleet PvP with militia. Here is my Gallente & Caldari suggestions :

GALLENTE

Basic Atron : Very effective ships for tackling and mediocre DPS. Ideal for fresh alphas to start offensive plexing in Novice Complexes. I believe using Afterburner is more suitable for the task in hand since it will give you some speed even you got scrammed and that can make easier to minimize incoming DPS in case of capsuleer attack while you can still reach to NPC frigates in Novice easily.

Basic Merlin : I also considered Condor for fast tackling but its low PG can limit fresh alphas so in my opinion Merlin is best option for Caldari Alphas with fresh toons. Brawl Merlin with Scram/Web & AB with Blasters can work in Novice Complexes easily against NPCs and if you can land tackle on capsuleers
when they warped on beacon you can have a good chance to inflict good DPS to them.

Hardest part is to find a fit optimized for running FW complexes and do occasional solo PvP and fleet PvP with militia.


This is the wrong goal imo. Pretty much anything that has big meta 4 guns, lots of dmg enhancers in lows, and enough speed to not take too much dmg will be able to really cut through npc rats in the complexes. People can use whatever they like for running 'plexes. What these fits for corp reshipping contracts should be, imo, are standard pvp fits.

If you try and fit for running complexes AND doing pvp, you'll likely be fine for killing squid rats, but you will be owned in pvp pretty much every time by ships that are fit exclusively for pvp. The pvp fits I created/found/got help making are indeed very capable of running complexes. They won't kill the rats inside as quickly as a more dmg focused fit, but they can still definitely get the job done. The benefit here is if you decide you want to take a fight that comes to you while running the complex, you aren't in a handicapped ship for the job.

In regards to prop mods, you generally just use the prop mod to get in close, apply web if you have one (most fits do) and then orbit at max speed w/ prop mod off. The reason for this is you don't want to orbit so much that your own guns can't track. The rats have pretty bad tracking from what I've seen so even cruiser vs cruiser, orbiting at 500 w/ prop mod off gives you enough traversal that they can't hit you. So you generally use MWD's via the pulse method to move short distances. Also, an Atron w/ an AB is going to be a very poor tackle in militia fleets.

PvP fits are going to be a lot more about control than a good plexing fit, as well as needing to fit a proper tank. Plexing fits don't care about either of those two things. We don't want to take plexing fits out into militia fleets because we'll want to get good rep w/ them as effective members of the galmil community. The more we do that, more relationships can open up and we can get access to citadels and so on. We won't get that by plexing, we'll get that by killing dirty calmil squids!

The thing about your fits you are using MWD for brawlers which I don't favor a lot. I am not optimizing fits to do both pvp and plexing but my main concern is to create PvP fits that can also run some plexes according to its damage capacity. If you fit MWD to a brawler and if you get caught by a brawler you will have zero range control for your close range weapons while he can dictate range with AB. For kiting ships that is not critical to have MWD since kiting ships are inherently faster then brawler ships and MWD will just boost that speed difference and you won't be able to catch them unles you are using some advanced tactics like slingshot, spiralling, etc.

It is possible to overheat MWD and burn to opponent and/or spiral to your opponent but that is not guarenteed. So in my opinion our best chance to have a brawler in plex and after killing the rat inside the plex burn to beacon and sit on it and try to tackle the ship incoming right away. Also I am aware of that our reputation among other militia depends on pvp capability not plexing and that is why I also want to hear from Gilly since he is flying with BFOX for ages. I know that you suggested variants of already proved fits like Derptron, Magic Merlin, etc but those fits are created for fleet pvp and being succesful in fleet pvp does not grant that they will be succesful at solo pvp.

I feel like this discussion is going to long and we need fits soon. We can modify the Fleet-Up fits of LSC - Small Gang Doctrine for all basic frigates. I will post those modified fits for alpha toons in corp bulletin and we will start using those right away.

You are probably overthinking the plex running/pvp ability trade-off a bit, A properly fit PvP ship should still be doing enough DPS to complete its respective sized plex. You only really need a specially fit ship if you JUST want to plex with it cos you fit for max DPS at the expense of all else to run the button faster and run the next size up etc.

The only ships you might struggle with in this regard are the T1 tackle frigs (condor especially will likely struggle a lot)

Doctrine Reshipping Contracts:

SPOILER WARNING!
These are contracts posted to the corp offering fit ships, ready to be purchased and flown immediately. They are to include all needed ammo, charges, and consumables, with rigs placed in cargo bay. Fits can be viewed at corp Fleet Up page. Max markup for these contracts is 10% of Jita Sell. For enterprising individuals, utilizing buy orders at a trade hub can help earn you profits far exceeding a 10% markup. The corp will maintain a base number of reshipping contracts (with profits going to corp wallet for maintaining corp services), however all members are allowed, and encouraged, to help maintain an ample supply of reshipping contracts for us all to use.

Contracts should be named as follows:
$RACE - $SKILL_LEVEL - $HULL_CLASS
Examples:
* Gallente - Basic - Frigate
* Amarr - Cruiser
* Minmatar - Advanced - Frigate

Note that cruiser fits are all based off of max skill alphas and so only have one implied skill level - advanced.

I recommend that a modest number of basic frigates are stocked, a handful of cruisers stocked, with the primary focus on stocking aimed at the various advanced frigate fits. Keep in mind the racial diversity and age of the characters in the corp when deciding how many and of which type of fits you are going to post. If we don't have any Amarr pilots in the corp, it doesn't make sense to post 10 Omen contracts.

Purchase price (default of Jita) * 5% markup + 1 million isk per 10,000 m3 shipped

Our basic frigate doctrine lets you get into a useful ship on day one. You can run novice plexes in these frigate fits and start earning LP rewards right away! The same fit works as tackle/scout for any corp or militia fleets that go roaming.

If you want to get started now, get yourself to Caslemon and set your medical clone there. Haul or order up some ships and get plexing! Be sure to join the corp slack.

Very good work overall indeed. Thanks. Although I am still thinking on different scenarios about LP Buyback Service/Program we can launch those programs right away and then get feedback and improve them if needed.

We set our temp. HQ, the basic frigate fittings and doctrine and the corporate doctrine ship order system. Hauling Service and Reshipping Contracts depend on private contractors. LP Buyback Program Set.

Also thanks to Kora K we can get much more members now! (Hold the door! :lol: Winter is coming!)

Now, we are launching CPSS Trade Office (Soon TM) so unistas can order Navy Issue ships, Navy Issue items, skillbooks and implants from CPSS.
