Re: [NSC] Doctrines.
Fargo, some stuff about your big doctrine
1. You have MJD domis, AB armor Ishtars and MWD armor VNIs all flying side by side?
2. You have prototype (use conjunctive for less cap usage) double local ECCM and no cap injectors on your geddons...they are also AB, which is not helping them catch up for above mentioned fast cruisers
3. RAH on VNI? That eats so much cap (-4/s)...maybe replacing with lowslot omni/ANP/DDA. Or do this (note AB):

Re: [NSC] Doctrines.
Is it worth switching to T2 Neuts for the Neutageddon?
It's a bit harder to fit but it has a higher heatdisipationmondifier.
From this

I think that means you can overheat it for considerably longer.
edit: and does anyone know what the entityCapacitorLevelModifier{Small|Medium|Large} affects?

Code: Select all
H(t) = heatCapacity / 100 - e ^ (-t * heatGenerationMultiplier * sum(heatAbsorbtionRateModifier))
If sum(heatAbsorbtionRateModifier) is bigger, H(t) is bigger as well, since exponent is negative - i.e. lim (sum->inf) of 1-e^(-constant*sum) = 1
Comparing T2 vs meta4:
Conclusion (in general correct for most T2 modules): they overheat faster

Thanks.Nuclear Russian wrote:H(t) = heatCapacity / 100 - e ^ (-t * heatGenerationMultiplier * sum(heatAbsorbtionRateModifier))
I missed the minus sign the first time around.

Something else I missed before.
Is there any reason we're leaving a spare 100m^3 of space in the drone bay <edit> of the Neutageddon?

For your Harpy fit, if you sub the Core Defense Rig for another anti-EM RIG you gain 15% or so EHP and 3% less sig radius.

Re: [NSC] Doctrines.
All I fly are Corax and Condor, would those be acceptable for LM sniper or tackler, respectively?
EDIT: My Corax has a max range of 47km.

Re: [NSC] Doctrines.
Keres would fit in better than a sentinel in these fleets. Cruisifier can do the job of a sentinel better than it, same goes if you are using it for damps the maulus's is just as good except 1/12 the price.

I was thinking about the extra and in my opinions pretty good pointing abilities that also come with the Keres over what the Maulus has. I think that may be were i head.

All these doctrines appear to be focused on baby ships (frigs). Any use for a T3? (like a Proteus). I guess I need a PvP (plated) fit, not nano, right?

Frigates can be very powerful in PvP, especially in numbers. Discounting them seems to indicate a lack of experience in PvP in general.Proteus Tielaxi wrote:All these doctrines appear to be focused on baby ships (frigs). Any use for a T3? (like a Proteus). I would urge you to fly less expensive ships in PvP a bit more to get a good feel for it first before undocking a Proteus with pewpew in mind. I would also recommend you rethink putting nanos on a Proteus. There may be some limited situations where they're appropriate, but I'm having trouble thinking of them.

Re: [NSC] Doctrines.
The point of a doctrine is for everyone to fly standard fits together. We could make a T3 doctrine but the number of pilots who could participate is much smaller than T1 cruisers. There are occasional fleets, like Gareth's dragonslayer, where the shiny stuff gets together - also see Fargo's "go big" post near the start of this thread.Proteus Tielaxi wrote:All these doctrines appear to be focused on baby ships (frigs).
