When you are done doing a LoSec roam, make sure your Timer has expired BEFORE jumping back into High Sec.

can they do that in high without themselfs going suspect?Honsou Nikumo wrote:If someone attacks your Mobile Tractor Unit and your Drones are set to Aggressive, they will Auto Aggro the person attacking the MTU, causing you to have a Limited Engagement Timer (blue symbol - top left corner) with that person, meaning they can pew pew you without concord intervention.
So don't drop your MTU on the warp in beacon. =P
Unless you want to fight. xD

random tip which doesn't just apply to eve online but any game really, so u want to set up a clan / guild / corp well your probably going to need some form of voice server and starting out are you really prepared to throw money into it just to get that all needed voice server set up .
well there are many mumble / ts3 / vent etc but recently i have been playing a game where they use "raidcall" and it turns out that raidcall is free hopefully this helps us poor people out
perhaps there is hidden price's i haven't fully tried it yet

Don't bother lighting cynos on minmatar stations. It's just not worth it.

I think they changed this and now your drones wont automatically attack a target if that attack would put you into a limited engagement. If someone attacks your Mobile Tractor Unit and your Drones are set to Aggressive, they will Auto Aggro the person attacking the MTU, causing you to have a Limited Engagement Timer (blue symbol - top left corner) with that person, meaning they can pew pew you without concord intervention.

Turn auto-reload off on your small ancillary armor repairers.
It takes them 60 seconds to reload, during which you will explode.

To send Book Mark (BM) to Alt
Hold Shift and Drag BM into your active Ships Hold from 'People and Places' window.
Move to item hanger
Create Private Contract to Alt
Alt collects Contract and then Drags BM's to their People and places
Ok, this tip is so hot I just have to give it a +1.
Thanks for this folks.

About the bookmarks,
You can just shift, drag to hanger, then contract them.
No need to drag to ship.

How to gatecamp and catch someone that uses the cloak trick
"Stay still, you need to have 0m/s speed. As soon as gate flashes pre-actvate your overheated point and have MWD on. Press and hold Ctr+Q and as soon as he shows up on overview click on him - this will start locking and approaching.
As soon as locking and moving starts spam Ctr+alt+space (full speed) so even if he cloaks you will still go in his direction full speed (normally if target cloaks, if you were approaching him you will stop)."

Doesn't orbit at 500m or something (tight orbit to keep you from angling out) work even better? The difference with orbit vs approach is that when the target you tried to orbit disappears, you continue straight ahead, whereas if your approach target disappears you stop.NIB Nibbler wrote:How to gatecamp and catch someone that uses the cloak trick

Basically doing the same but orbit instead of approach would just remove an unnecessary step (the ctrl + alt + space part).

Re: EVE University's Random Tip of the Day
What NIB has put down is essentially the method Agony use - orbiting can throw you quite a distance from the spawn point, especially on a region gate, and may give your target extra time to warp away. It may even be possible (even at a tight orbit) that you could be out of point range on a region gate.
