[GUIDE] Homefront Operations - General Guide and Feedback

Hello All! First Time writing up a guide, so bear with me!

This post is a more in depth look at the sites in general, rather than a specific guide to each of the sites. You can consider this post an extension of Hippla's First Impressions post.

General Information: See this post. I will be adding my two isk for a few of the sites, but that has a lot of very relevant information I don't need to repost here.

Site Ranking in terms of potential isk/hour PER PILOT:
1. 150-180 Mil isk/hour - Tied for first is the Raid and Dread Assault sites, seeing as each site can be completed in under 6 minutes from Accel Gate to Warp out. However, site spawn locations, pilot skills, and 5 man fleet composition play a huge role in realistic isk/hour (will elaborate below).
2. 80-160 Mil isk/hour - Metaliminal Meteoroid
3. 60-120 Mil isk/hour - Suspicious Signal
4. 50-60 Mil isk/hour - Emergency Assault
5. ??? Abyssal Artifact Recovery- Far more testing is required, as this site is not only EXTREMELY DANGEROUS for a hisec site, but actual numbers seem to vary widely. This is due to loot drops, rather than the site payouts.

Site Ranking in terms of.... Newbro danger? Bittervets will likely not have many issues with any of the sites once they have been thoroughly tested and exploited. (High to low)
1. Abyssal Artifacts Recovery: Very Dangerous. The combination of Warp Bubble, Trig Enemies, and getting podded make this site a massive hazard to newbros.
2. Suspicious Signal: The potential incoming damage will one shot a heron, and combined with Target Jammer EWAR, make this site dangerous.
3. Every other site: Little to Medium danger in a properly tanked fleet with logi support.

Anyways, enough with the rankings. Let's get into the Sites themselves, along with specific fits and tactics for experienced site hunters and bittervets to maximize the isk printing. (Well, as far as I have been able to find. I will be doing additional testing as I can.)

The concept:

Kill the haulers that spawn, and take the Narcotics Packages (1x Drop/wreck; 3500km3) that they drop to the Obelisk that is ~55 KM away.

Fleet Composition:

- 1 Logi
- 1 Hauler
- 3 DD OR 2 DD and 1 Point

The NPCs:

- Serpentis
- Damage dealt is 63/37 Therm/Kin
- EWAR is Sensor Dampening

The execution:

Execution is now a lot simpler. Single phase.

- On warp in from the acceleration gate, logi should immediately orbit the beacon and do logi things. The rest will head to Point A on the map below and attempt to warp disrupt the first hauler (Nereus Mule). Killing the first mule decreases the time in each site by about 1-2 mins.
-Note- The first Mule spawns at ~37 KM from warp in. Overheating the warp disrupter is required.
-After a mule is killed, the next mule spawns within 15 seconds. Immediately point and kill mules until FC calls otherwise.
Note: The third and subsequent mules now take longer to spawn. Testing shows up to 1.5 mins.
-The Badger pilot needs to loot the wrecks as they drop, and upon grabbing three packages (10.5km3), start burning towards Point B on the map, where the Obelisk sits, and drop the packages to complete the site.
-Site complete! Approx. time needed: 6-9 Minutes depending on NPC aggro and 1st Mule kill

-Final Notes-
- DD need to damage a rat for credit on the site. So having a dedicated scram frigate with no guns will not work.
- Logi, as stated above, do need to rep fleetmates. A 0 Rep boost on a fleetmate also counts.
- Badger just needs to badger things.
-It IS possible for a single fleetmate to be primaried by the rats during the entire duration for the site.
WARNING: There is a very rare chance that the site can spawn three Tycoon Talos (Battlecruiser level). It is advised to force the site to fail if this happens. abandon the site. It appears that you can no longer fail the site.

The concept:

Mine the ore while logi reps. Pretty simple.

Fleet Composition:

- 1 Logi
- 4 Ventures

The NPCs:

- Rogue Drones
- Damage dealt is EM/Therm
- EWAR is Webs

The execution:

On warp in, everyone needs to orbit the Mutanite asteroid at 500, and mine it out (14,000km3). NPC warp out and payout happens once the asteroid is depleted. The ore can be sold as a NPC buy at 5,000 isk/unit. Time to complete is roughly 7-10 minutes depending on Venture fits.

- NOTE: Due to fitting constraints, it appears that the T1 Venture is a lot safer, due to the AB and speed tanking the sites (duh!).

3. Emergency Aid: Automated Factory

The concept:

Keep the Allied Structure alive for 15 minutes.

Fleet Composition:

-5 Logi

The NPCs:

- Rogue Drones
- Damage dealt is EM/Therm
- EWAR is Webs

The execution:

Upon warp in, orbit beacon at 4000 meters, with all hardeners on and full AB. 2 Remote boosters on the Allied Structure, and 1 on whoever is taking damage. Site completion is 15 minutes.

- Note: No way to speed this up, unfortunately.
