Thinking about playing again after a LONG hiatus

So, I'm thinking of getting back into Eve after not playing for several years...
Does anybody know if I check out the current state of the game on a free account, will I lose my skills & ships I own (that a free account doesn't have access to)? I know I can't fly certain stuff on a free account, but I have several billion isk in ships & several weeks worth of skill training, if not months that I'd obviously rather not lose. If I need to get a paid account so I don't lose them, I'm willing to, but didn't want to commit to it just yet unless I have to.
Hopefully that made sense, I'm only running on a few hours sleep right now. :?

You don't lose anything, you just can't get inside them :p

I've also just returned after 6-7 years of hiatus. There is still fun to be had.

Re: Thinking about playing again after a LONG hiatus

Due to my history as a hardcore inty pilot & the number of faction ships that I own & love to fly, I may go with an Omega account for a month, & maybe go from there, either way.
