So, yesterday, I got killed by a guy in a jaguar. https://zkillboard.com/kill/78698594/ I used to do 754 damage a hit, but against him, it did nothing. It's prob about resistances, but also about my fit. so, I ask this question. how to fit thrashers

You were using artillery. The jaguar probably got close to you and under your guns, so they couldn't track him and apply damage.

If you are looking to experiment with different fits EVE Workbench is a good place for inspiration

280mm cannon is not the best choice when against jugar. the autocannon will be better.
you also need a web. and fill the low slot correctly.

btw. a well fitted jagaur is absolutly capable to kill a thrasher, so do be sad : )

Figured I'd necro this thread since I just got into a thrasher. I checked EVE Workbench, and I have one problem with it... there's a bunch of different fits, with absolutely no way I can figure out to see if they're good, bad, godly or laughable. Is there any way to tell if the fits on there are good or not?

The question whether a fit is good or not always depends what the ship is intended to do. The original question here concerned a PvP fit, but you may have a different use in mind, which might change the fitting consideration completely.

Take a look at our flight deck Thrasher fit for an example of a PvE Thrasher that's newer player friendly, but good enough to run lower tier combat sites and do belt ratting, for example.

If you find fits (or are making your own) that you would like to get feedback on, I recommend posting in the #fitting-chat channel in Discord - you'll likely get a response very quickly, and people can iterate with you how you'll be using the ship and whether a particular fit works for you skills-wise.
