Augoror

There are 4 fittings on the wiki currently.

"3/2" is the basic fit, and actually the only one that is stable in a chain. I'd recommend this stays but is renamed to "Active". Though the mids could be adjusted as described towards the end of this post.

"Small Cap Transfers" should be removed. It is not stable running everything, no matter how you setup the cap transfers. This is enough for it to be removed.

"Cap Logi" or Battery Augoror is a pointless fit. You never use it in a fight and if you are using it you're using it you are using it for a specific reason. It's not something that should really be on the wiki.

The only fits i'd recommend be put on the wiki for this ship is the Active fit above and this passive fit below:

The mids for both the "Active" and "Passive" fits would preferably be a small battery for the 25% neut resistance and a Sensor Booster for the ECM resistance (as well as the increased lock times when no ECM is on grid). I'd Recommend having one of each on the wiki fits with a note saying that it should be fit for what you expect.

TLDR: Delete everything but the 3/2, rename it to Active and add a passive version.

Re: Augoror

In terms of repping power the 4-1 fits are going to be stronger. If your doctrine has PG to spare, the 4-1 concept could be superior if your intel is dead on and there are no neuting threats to your logistics wing. 4-1 can be made stable even with All 4 skills. If you have neuting threats reported your entire logi wing should have passive hardeners. Exequrors rep more than Augorors because of the drones, and because most logi is 3-2 (4-2 for T2 versions) which is perfectly logical enough but also means that they don't rep as much as the Exequrors do.

The MWD fits are slightly different and should be covered.

Re: Augoror

The 4/1 Fit as described on the wiki is not stable at all 5's. See image for evidence.
SPOILER WARNING!

The only way to make that fit stable is to meta down the t2 armour reps. With 4 Solace reps it's stable at 47.4% with all V's skills. IV's still isn't enough. That can be added to the recommended list but has to have a note saying it requires near perfect skills. Though i'd still argue that this is still so on the cusp of unstable (literally ONE MEDIUM neut will cap you out) that i'd actually recommend it doesn't go on the wiki. (as opposed to the 7 medium neuts it takes to cap out a 3/2 aug)
However, i personally would heavily caution that there is ALWAYS someone neuting. If you say "Nah, there wont be neuts" you've lost. Ships have utility highs for neuts, some people bring neut ships along, there is always that strain on the logi, expecting none is dangerous. Intel is never 100% accurate.

Doesn't matter what exeq's do, this is about augoror fitting; not overall deciding on what ship to bring. Keep it on topic please.

Also never fit an MWD to an aug. Ever. The pg requirements will make the fit weaker in either rep power or tank. The sig bloom (which is your PRIMARY defence) is now insane, you'll be hit by so much more. The cap requirement and drawbacks are insane and that will make you weaker to EWAR.
Augorors have a very very small sig and that means they sig tank. The MWD negates this bonus the Logi Cruisers have.

Re: Augoror

First, an Aug is something i don't fly quite often, so most likely its trash. On the other side, i don't have good experience with flying ships without MWD... I fully agree that the main tank on an Aug is the Sig/Speed. So following a passive Dualprop Setup. Needs of course some more work from LogiFC, but has now some nice maneuverability if needed.

I guess it can be optimized a bit, was more some impromptu clicked together thing.

Re: Augoror

The aug is most certainly not trash, and you just said you have no experience with the ship so your opinion is not very informed. And so is the opinion that because you don't fly it very often that it is trash. Otherwise in that case all caps are trash because i've never flown them. See how silly a point that is?

Dual prop logi 90% of the time is awful. You're wasting slots you need to use for tank (EWAR/DPS). You fit the logi for the fleet it will be accompanying. As well as pick the most appropriate logi. Dual prop doesn't fit in a fleet. It is also hyper specialised.

Budda Sereda wrote:3. Stick to typical use-cases
Please stick to the most commonly used fits, avoid using specialized, niche fits. There is a myriad way of fitting each ship, though we publish only most common or those that are principally different from each other. If fits can use different modules and serve the same role, just put another module in cargo and put description that explains when to refit to any particular module

If you don't have experience why blaming something?

Posted active and passive resist fits, the only thing for active fit I used E-Uni BLAP Augoror, T2 version: never heard about issues with cap in cap chain logies... and double SeBos could help with both ECM and locking friendlies quicker.

With thrash i meant the fit i had posted afterwards, not the aug itself.
