Same as for Minmatar frigate logies, can we handle Thalia together with

Currently posted fit (for reference only):
Spoiler

Code: Select all

[Thalia, T2 Remote Armor Repair]
Small Remote Armor Repairer II
Small Remote Armor Repairer II
Small Remote Armor Repairer II

Small Capacitor Booster II
Cap Recharger II
1MN Y-S8 Compact Afterburner

Damage Control II
400mm Steel Plates II
Explosive Plating II
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II

Small Ancillary Current Router I
Small Anti-Explosive Pump I

Light Armor Maintenance Bot II x1

Navy Cap Booster 400 x 10
To keep it simple I recommend we post 3 fits:

1) AB Bling

2) MWD Bling

3) AB T2 (AB with cap. battery?)

And similar to my question in the post about Navitas: why bother with chargerless fits? Making it with charges you can increase speed for 10-20%. Is it a big deal managing cap/charges flying frigs logies?

Thalias are, unfortunately, terrible compared to the Deacon.

I'll post what I have but it's not much. The MWD fit has atrocious tank. 10.2k EHP is blergh. You have a dilemma as an MWD and 400 plate don't fit without a fitting mod. You either sacrifice a low and give up resists, or sacrifice a rig for an ACR.

[Thalia, MWD]

Damage Control II
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
400mm Crystalline Carbonide Restrained Plates
True Sansha Energized Explosive Membrane

5MN Y-T8 Compact Microwarpdrive
Small Capacitor Booster II, Navy Cap Booster 400
F-90 Compact Sensor Booster

Coreli C-Type Small Remote Armor Repairer
Coreli C-Type Small Remote Armor Repairer
Coreli C-Type Small Remote Armor Repairer

Small Trimark Armor Pump II
Small Ancillary Current Router I
AB fit, still not great. Only has about 12k EHP when it's alternative (AB fit Deacon) sports almost 20k. The only thing you get with the Thalia is the one extra mid for a sebo (ideally). Not much else useful you can put there.

Maybe the Wiki page should forward the user to the Deacon page instead? I'm also not the fan of the Thalia, and see no reason for it to be used in the current meta over the Deacon.

The second fit is the only one worth undocking, in my humble opinion. As was already pointed out, far too much of the fit has to be comprised to make a MWD work on this hull.

What if a player has Gallente Frigates 5 and needs frigate logy? No, I think we should keep Thalia on Wiki, but put comments on why it is terrible.

Should we post MWD? What if player flying with T2/3 armor frigates/destroyers MWD doctine, but can only fly Gallente? I think we should post best possible fit and let people judge.

Posted both White's fits.

Was looking into zkillboard fits and was about to say that White's fits are probably the best to adopt.

The problem with the Thalia and Scalpel are that by design they are meant to be the sig tanking logi ships but that kind of doctrine is not popular. Hence they sport less 'tank' slots, don't have role bonus that affects EHP but instead get a reduction in sig radius and have higher base speed.
