As your username only had the initial capital letter, it would not have been affected by these changes. I can see no user account history for it as lowercase, or anything similarly spelled -- are you sure it was on this character?

I can't find what the old user page was. In the wiki, links match up to my new one (from SSO). Maybe it is gone?

Shouldn't be entirely gone without a log trace. the Merge tool we're using is very careful to log everything it does... if you can identify a non-user page that you may have edited in the past and what the edit might have been, we can look through page history to find the user... other than that, I am confident saying the previous user was not named ca'ain or Ca'ain. I'm still eager to help resolve the issue, but I'll need some more info to help sleuth. You're welcome to send me a PM instead, if you wish to take this out of the thread, that's up to you

You said you had a list of accomplishments on the user page - if you could remember some wording from one of those accomplishments, it might help an advanced search.
