concord vs t2

Anyone else notice that in the in game fitting tool T2 25000 auto cannons are giving a higher dps than the concord version of the same guns and a Nag fit? The concord version has a higher damage modifier. Couldn't find any information online about it.

Re: concord vs t2

Isn't that a classic example of the specialization skill benefiting T2 weapons but not faction weapons? With the faction guns sporting higher raw damage modifiers to compensate for not being able to get up to +10% from the specialization skill (+2% per level).

yes

and don't forget that the faction guns need less fitting and have better tracking than the t2 guns.

Re: concord vs t2

The compare tool is your friend, yes the T2 Hexa 2500mm has better damage due to skills however Concord one has better tracking and lower CPU fitting cost, so depends what you need it for tbh. That said most of the time you'll be wanting max damage for killing caps/supers/titans so T2 is your go to provided you have Capital Autocannon spec above 3, does require Capital Projectiles to 5 however which is usually the last of the major Cap skills to take to 5 (after getting T2 Siege and Dread 5).
