Well, this one was an interesting fleet. Formup took a while with some trouble getting ships, getting people sorted with enlistment and all the issues revolving around that but, in the end, we managed to get ourselves shipped up and undocked. I took us through the Ostingele backdoor to avoid the CAMELOT gatecamp and we went to Eha, the current Gallente objective. There, we got us a fight relatively quickly - a Coercer Navy Issue slid into us and I thought we might have a shot. We didn't.

In addition to that, I asked for a pod express - only to figure out that I forgot to swap clones in all the early chaos. https://zkillboard.com/kill/114122944/

We reshipped and got back into the action, this time in Oicx. Having defended one complex we went to another, when we saw a Catalyst Navy Issue on D-Scan. I thought we might have a shot. We didn't (even though we did fare better than against the Coercer).

Having lost two sets of ships and approaching my set end time for the fleet we had a quick chat about SRP and FC feedback and called it a day.

If we forget about my pod (please forget about my pod, thank you), we've lost about 12M ISK in E-UNI assets and gained a couple valuable lessons on what to engage. My key lessons:

• Don't underestimate the tank of Navy destroyers.
• Don't underestimate the DPS of Navy destroyers.
• Tech 2 guns on both Thrashers might have got us the kill on the Catalyst Navy Issue.
• Check your pod before you undock. No, really, please check your pod.
