Intro to Fleets [practical class roam] AAR

Conducted microfleet roam as Intro to Fleets practical class on 11/14/2023, 1600 - 1700 (EVE). Covered fleet windows (Fleet Window, Fleet Chat, Watch List), Settings (Travel preference, safeties), Pre-fleet checks, communications SOP and Fleet Commands. We then practiced fleet commands and maneuver, eventually taking down two (2) NPC [Pirate] Refuges. FC will conduct salvage after filing AAR and deposit in the Stacmon - The Quad donations locker. Broke a 3-4 times for questions and took questions during operations. Had 5-6 students, though one person may have joined the fleet, taken the loaner ship and disappeared. LOL.

Overall, things seemed to go well. FC jumped without the fleet a couple of times, but students did well, using the fleet window to target primaries. Didn't lose anyone to enemy fire. One student needed help setting up a whisper key. I referred him to the Wiki. Everyone seemed to enjoy the experience.
