Kills and Losses

This time we tried something new with the KSG Doctrine. We were forming a full KSG Frigate Fleet. Retri and Imperial Navy Slicer was DPS. Some EWar with Keres, Hyena, Kitsune and Maulus. Plus Links and Dictor. I wanted to try this setup and travel fast to cover a lot of ground.
Overall it worked well and our scouts did a great job by keeping the content coming.

First catch of the day was a Drekavac, sitting on a Tac of a gate. Scout got point and the fleet secured the kill.

Thanks to our scouts we were catching a high number of Ratting Ships today. Very good job by everyone involved. Please, also have a look at the Pod kills today, especially exquisite.

We had 3 scouts today, which created a lot of content, sometimes in parallel. First one scout pointed a Drake. A bit later the next scout got a Falcon on the ESS-Grid. While the Fleet warped to the target system a Vexor Navy also warped to the ESS and got promptly pointed by one of our other scouts. Fleet came in and cleaned up.

Overall the fleet was very fast and covered great distances. We did not get any bigger engagements but had some smaller scirms with some other fleets. But either side was not interested in an engagement where they could not control the location of the battlefield.
It was very interesting to try out this variation of the new doctrine and it seems to be a viable option. We could add an ESS Stabber to it in the future, to also force some fights.

Thank you for my first ever PvP fleet, Shukken. It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot. Also thanks to Gideon for walking me through how to extract with filaments. Unfortunately I got caught out on the way home.

God tier scout work today!

Shukken thanks for leading this fleet out, and trying a new wrinkle on the KSG doctrine! I think down-shipping to gain speed (and sacrifice DPS) really makes this fleet comp work. I feel like today's fleet demonstrated that we really could string out an opposing force and pick off targets from a larger force if we had the opportunity to.
