Events, Kills & Losses
Smooth form-up and started roam around Syndicate at 18:15h.

Trying to draw out the residents in 6-C (to no avail):
Small Bubble +1.85m

First encounter (jumped into the fleet, bubble went up and he got decloaked):
Pilgrim +307m

Scouts caught something in Poitot (did you know....):
Myrmidon +92m

Trying to draw out the residents in 6-C again (to no avail):
Small Bubble +1.85m
Small Bubble +1.85m
Small Bubble +1.85m

Intel showed activity in NS Staging, so we headed back. Did not catch anything on the way.

Saw a CFT Pilgrim, knew it would cyno stuff in - but no guts, no glory - we went in guns blazing (and got dropped on hard - as expected). Called to scatter as soon as I saw the Pilgrim did not break and a FAX (Lif) landed on grid. Scatter went decently (always good to practise, right... right? ;) ), but of course still lost some ships:

Federation Navy Comet -21.9M
Flycatcher -84.6M
Federation Navy Comet -21.9M
Sabre -71.7M
Enyo -48M
Republic Fleet Firetail -15.4M
Deacon -48.4M

Good job on flying clean clones there ;)

Got the fleet into PC9, and there it was: the hulltanked CFT bait Gnosis. Took stock of the fleet - still had DPS/Logi on grid, so decided to take the bait.

While we did manage to get the Gnosis rather far down into hull - we did get dropped on hard (again) as expected (again). Called to scatter when it was apparent we would not be able to break the Gnosis after the drop. And of course, lost some ships here as well:

Enyo -38.9M
Inquisitor -8.4M
Wolf -37.6M

Again all clean clones, yay!

Stats
ISK Destroyed: 406,312,887.38
ISK Lost: 418,143,634.81
ISK Delta: 11,830,747.43
Efficiency: 49%

Overall evaluation
  • Good turnout, got some kills during the roam. Had fun :)
  • Took the bait
  • FC should remember to call for heat
  • FC should remember to ask people to check their redeem queue for boosters during form-up
  • Not ISK positive (but we did take the bait ;) )

Super fun fleet overall.

I would say the roam itself was hugely successful. We lost very little (one or two tackle?) during the actual roam, it was just CFT's usual overreaction that cost us the ISK loss.

Totally forgot to comment here - from the perspective of 2IC the fleet went off without a hitch. We always had a plan, the decisions made were sound (yes, ESPECIALLY the bait Gnosis!) and it was a clean, well-commanded fleet all around. Anything that I would have added you already mentioned, looking forward to flying with you again!
