What we did
- Got people into ships: instalock thrashers, dictor, Keres, Hyena and T1 tackle. Some people brought their somewhat bigger guns from their personal hangars / corp contracts (Tornado, ONI)
- Set up bubble camp on the PC9 gate in X-P
- Went over some things like range, Alpha, decloaking, etc
- Moved camp up to JH gate in PC9
- Just when we were deciding to get into GCD and roam a bit a frenemy of the NS pocket residents poked his head in - his ship went up in smoke the second he came out of gatecloak (this went so fast that only 7 fleetmembers are actually on that killmail). We respectfully didn't pod him, until he asked us to.
- Reshipped into GCD to go look for things to kill, checked zkill/dotlan/gatechecker to see where to go
- Killed a poor Heron on the way
- PC9->Stacmon route empty, went to Reblier->PC9 route
- Ended up killing 2 small anchored bubbles in 6-C (not to be found on zkill) to try and draw people off tether - did not work
- On the way back we encountered a Wreathe at a POCO (on grid with gate). FC should have called for everyone to try and get tackle, but tried fleet warping to the POCO instead - which took too long
- Returned to PC9 and docked up

Overall evaluation
  • Getting more people familiar with gatecamps and roaming
  • Being able to spend some time (gatecamps have a bit of quiet time) just chatting and 'teaching' about some PVP mechanics while undocked
  • More people now have a couple of PVP capable ships in their ship hangar in PC9 (and some their first clone in the NS pocket)
  • Not a lot of content came our way
  • FC let a Wreathe get away (boo, FC, boo!)
