As this fleet was a bit different to the usual Uni fleets and small gang roams I want to do something different with this. Please feel free to use this thread to create a community led AAR, discussing everything from staging in your relevant campuses right through to arriving safely back home again. It doesn’t matter if you were a 12 hour old member or a 12 year one. There will be a great deal to share and learn from everyone’s individual experiences and learnings from this fkeet.
An overall AAR of the ‘operation that never was’ will be out in the coming days.

AAR - PIRAT Structure Bash - Faye Enkelli
Note - This is my first attempt at an AAR. Edited in missing details - /Note
On June 13th A travel fleet of shuttles left from Amy to the Staging System - Litiura VIII - with our final destination being Piak, our target, the war HQ of PIRAT. Though the final destination wasn't mentioned out loud until after reaching the staging system, we all knew what we had signed up for.

Destination 1 - Staging System - Litiura VIII
Travel fleet went swimmingly with one or two very confused people in local wondering what this fleet of shuttles, all Ged Sinak's Punishers, were up to.
Destination 2 - Lonetrek - Piak
After reshipping at the staging system thanks to the efforts of various Uni depertments ensuring an available ship for all skill levels, and a tight doctrine making the life of FC and Logi easier alike, we eventually came to our target system.
There was one or two WTs to be found in system, but they kept range and didn't put up much more of a fight after it was clear that their structure wasn't going to hold us off.
Various groups of friendlies and neutrals also were in system attacking our target, and after a good long while we managed to knock down shields and force the structure into reinforcement.
After a successful operation, the fleet disbanded and went their separate ways, showing that even though we are primarily a learning institution, EVE Uni does bite back.
Overall evaluation
✔ (Positive stuff)
- Fleet formup was swift
- Logi did a fantastic job once in the target system
- Saw a Ferox conga line.
✘ (Negative stuff)
- Structure bashing, at least this time, seems tedious easily leading to distracted fleet members. Something to make a personal note of\

Good fight E-Uni.
Your organization was remarkable and your comms well disciplined.
I'm sorry that you were not there to see the completion of your work.
Special thanks from The Graduates and The Initiative. to Guiliano for pressing this necessary assault, which we hope will help discourage future miscreancy. We hope you enjoyed it.
Go Ivy. o7

Fantastic work chaps - quick noobie question though (not a criticism!), I feel I've missed something here - was there a reason we didn't totally blow it up?

They dropped the war against the Uni but forgot the other war dec so left the structure vulnerable. They are unlikely to make the same mistake again!

Re: [AAR] Operation Forrest: PIRAT Structure Bash
you can't blow up a structure completely in one go. Normal structures have 3 timers. shield, armor, structure.Golan Ambramotte wrote:Fantastic work chaps - quick noobie question though (not a criticism!), I feel I've missed something here - was there a reason we didn't totally blow it up?
When we came there, the shield was already down. so we could kill the armor. but the structure was still left.
between shield and armor you have to wait like 24 hours. and between armor and structure you have to wait like a week.
and since the war got dropped by pirate during that week, we could not participate in the final
