Found a Sabre in JH-, quickly fit up a Thrasher to fight it. Sabre left so I searched around and found a Harpy instead. Silly me only loaded phased plasma to fight the Sabre but decided to take the fight anyways. Died before the active tanked Harpy even needed to rep.

Thrasher: 10,493,040.10

2019/06/14
Was feeling bored so I decided to quickly take a Thrasher to PF- and camp the bubble there. A battle Exeq warped down and caught me while I was still in the bubble.

Thrasher: 11,531,454.10

2019/06/15
Finally got some ships hauled around New Eden so I can pvp in places other than Syndicate. I started with an arty Wolf and roamed around Catch to find some helpless ratters. Failed but ran into a beam Retribution which aggressed me on a gate instead as I was dscanning down VNIs. Seeing he's alone, I simply approached and shot while letting the Wolf's EM resists and better tracking do the rest for this fight.

Retribution: 63,741,260.28

Later that day, I roamed around some more. Jumped into a small frig/destroyer gang. I started kiting out to separate the interceptors from the rest but didn't start shooting at them until they were practically on top of me. This mistake cost me the fight as I was no longer able to keep tracking the Stilletos as they establish a tight orbit. Despite that, I was still able to get one of them in hull before it pulled range and warped. Soon, the Kikimora catches up and finishes me off.

Wolf: 51,751,206.99

Decided to take a Thrasher out this time, jumped into a large frigate fleet due to bad luck. Got alphad.

Thrasher: 14,127,238.03

Later, I finally finished hauling some ships over beside Geminate. Decided to take a Thrasher to check out the area. Ran into a large gatecamp, got alphad again.

Thrasher: 12,492,394.27

After waiting a bit for the gatecamp to die down. I decided to undock a Firetail for the first time in my life. Upon jumping into BWF, there were some bubbles but only a few frigs and a Stabber camping it. I burned off in a direction with MWD to isolate only their fastest tackle before turning on him

Malediction: 45,751,713.09

At this point, the Stabber has caught up and scrams me, forcing me to fight. I orbit it at 500 with afterburner (dual prop is the best) and slowly whittle it down. Setting auto-reload on for my SAAR almost loses me the Stabber kill, but I clutch it in the end before dying.

Stabber: 9,667,949.30
Firetail: 19,430,302.62

Decided to finally undock my current favourite ship: the Stabber. Jumped into BWF, found a Hecate+ some other frigates nearby. I crashed back into lowsec to swap to fusion for the Hecate before going back in. Upon entering, I approach the Hecate, he aggresses and I land scram+web and keep at range 5000m while overheating all guns. The Hecate soon falls as I swap to a Merlin after. After that dies, I swap to another Hecate and get it down to about 15% hull (so close) before dying. I could've killed both Hecates had I remembered to take Blue Pill before using up all my xlasb charges or ignored the Merlin.

Hecate: 82,276,112.10
Merlin: 507,235.14
Stabber: 27,510,281.13

Finding that fun, I decided to take out another Stabber (with a new fit as well!). Upon jumping into BWF, I notice a Stilleto sitting 12km away from me with various other frigs/dessies/Caracal about 30km away. I rush him with scram+web, hoping he'll panic and aggress. He does and dies shortly after.

Stilleto: 45,399,720.41

For some reason, nothing was scramming me, so I burn away to isolate more tackle. This works well as I kill an Executioner trying to ram me before a Vengeance lands beside us and holds me down for good.

Executioner: 12,155,030.28
Stabber: 27,714,148.32

Took out Firetail to change things up, couldn't find any interceptors to shoot so I roamed around Geminate for some time. Eventually I found some miners on an Athanor and warped on them. Everyone else had already left except for a Porpoise so I engaged. Turns out it was a bait Porpoise with dual web+scram. I couldn't pull range with afterburner or rep due to the Athanor neuting me out and died shortly after.

Firetail: 19,718,656.68

Undocked another Stabber and noticed a Hecate closish after jumping into BWF. Seeing there wasn't anything else to tackle me, I burned at it with an overheated MWD+overclocker dose I while realizing it was rail fit. For some reason I was much faster than it even as it tried to kite. Once I got scram+web, it died almost instantly.

Hecate: 57,946,124.69

After killing it, I burned away from the Hecate's friends that were chasing me and warped out. After repairing and reloading, I sat at a tac for the lowsec gate and looked for kill opportunities while being aligned out. I was surprised to see a Hecate warp right on top of me and realized they were combat scanning me. I bailed since I didn't have fusion loaded to burn down the Hecate quickly. This time I warped back to the tac at 100km with fusion loaded and let the Hecate combat scan me down so it could land on top of me to kill. Everything went as planned but I wasn't able to kill the Hecate fast enough unfortunately. Eventually all it's friends came over to assist and I died with the Hecate in 2/3 hull.

Great results Xyrin! And I'm very surprised you were able to find a content in BWF solo: on my memory, it was camped by big camps, including instalockers, Hyenas, Ashimus, so going through was simply not an option :)

Yeah, if the camp is too big, I just crash back into lowsec and do my fighting there. Not everyone follows, so it definitely makes things easier for me.

Started the day with a Firetail, entered BWF and noticed the camp was smaller than usual with only some T1 frigates for fast tackle. I burned off and turned around when the tackle was isolated but overestimated how fast I can kill these things. Additionally I tunnel visioned and didn't realized I was only being pointed and not scrammed by the executioner. As a result, I stayed and brawled him down instead of running away after realizing his buddies are too close, causing my death.

Executioner: 6,078,974.57
Firetail: 19,181,787.29

Upon realizing how little tackle these guys have at the moment, I undocked a Stabber as it does a little more damage than the Firetail. I go through the same motions as with the Firetail except I kill things much faster, including a Hecate that chased after me along with their T1 tackle. My presence starts attracting more people's attention and they bring me down as I kill the Hecate.

Kestrel: 8,181,724.39
Hecate: 71,006,492.93
Executioner: 12,272,464.99
Stabber: 27,505,958.08

Wanting to change things up a bit, I undock a Thrasher this time, partly to get a scout on what the gatecamp is looking like. Unfortunately, the Thrasher isn't fast enough to crash gate so I decide to ram the nearest frigate in the hopes of getting a kill before dying. It worked.

Tormentor: 12,522,951.58
Thrasher: 12,440,293.31

Noticing the presence of the Draugur near the gate, I undocked a Stabber with the dream of killing it, salivating at the though of a 500m killmail. Unfortunately it was tethered when I entered BWF so I start approaching a Stilleto that was sitting on the lowsec gate 12km away from me. My plan was to jump through if he doesn't redbox or burn him down if he does. Thankfully, the latter happened.

Stilleto: 51,278,966.01
Stabber: 28,243,528.54

Having alot of fun at this point, I undock another Stabber to see what I can catch. Unfortunately they seem to have learned from their mistakes as now all the small stuff is tethered at a nearby citadel with only a Malediction sitting decently far off the gate. I burn off in a direction away from the camp in the hopes of attracting more killable targets. The Malediction keeps me pointed while staying far away from me while a Cynabal warps to it. I wasn't fast enough to outrun either so the Cynabal gets scram and basically solos me with the rest of his group warping down to finish me off.

Stabber: 27,585,625.84

Realizing they have my Stabber well countered, I take out a Firetail this time as it's the only ship I have here that can outrun the Cynabal and blap the Malediction if he separates himself. This is exactly what happens, the Malediction didn't even bother chasing me and I make it out of the camp. Having the opportunity to go deeper into Geminate, I start hunting for VNIs. Instead, I find an Ishtar, which is probably unkillable for the Firetail, but I decide to try anyways. I warp onto his site, approach, land scram+web and orbit at 1000m with afterburner on. Surprisingly, we both get eachother to hull and I get very excited at the thought of an Ishtar kill. Unfortunately, it was I who falls first. After looking over my lossmail, I realized I forgot to take my drugs which probably would've gotten me the kill. As a result, I fell into crippling depression.

Firetail: 23,452,464.28

Wanting a 2nd chance, I undock a Stabber as I know it would have no problems handling that same Ishtar. Luckily, the campers were slacking so I make it through with a little overheating. Upon entering system with the Ishtar pilot, my heart sinks when I realize he's not running the site anymore. It was then, when I noticed another Ishtar on scan. I enter this one's site and manage to land scram+web as I start pounding on his shield. This Ishtar is much stronger than the last and even has a scram. The fight seems really close and we both get into hull before I die.

Stabber: 27,613,565.96

Noticing the damage I was dealing, I had a feeling he had an EM rig so I fit up another Stabber to try again with hail...

...Nope, the result was even worse. For some reason, he was able to rep alot more this time around. I think he was just bait-tanking me the first time to make sure I don't pull range and leave.

Stabber: 27,613,565.96

Feeling confused, I look up his killboard and found out he's large shield booster fit with warpcore stabs. Even if I was able to overpower him, he could just warp away anytime he wanted.

Later that day, I took out a Thrasher to check on the gatecamp. There was WAY too many small, fast and kitey things for me to handle.

Thrasher: 14,136,133.84

Deciding to stay in lowsec until the camp gets smaller, I bring out the arty Hurricane for the first time. Upon landing at a tac to the BWF gate, I realize someone else is already busy harassing Horde and a few of them were suspects. Warping down at 100km to the gate and aligning out, I wait to see if anyone tries chasing me. Sure enough, a flashy SFI approaches. Surprisingly, as soon as I start shooting, I hear the killmail alert. Confused at what happened, I opened the alert and realized I just alphad it after it apparently gotten low from taking gate gun damage after going suspect. This took me a few seconds to process and clear the confusion. As a result, I tunnel visioned hard and didn't notice the imminent blob heading my way in time.

SFI: 129,466,443.21
Hurricane: 71,204,565.68

Feeling like flying a Firetail again, I head into BWF with the hopes of killing some interceptors. Nope! I get alphad as soon as I decloak.

Firetail: 19,721,417.42

Knowing that I shouldn't jump into that camp for the rest of the day, I take out a Stabber due to the presence of some very killable targets in lowsec from the last few fights. Bouncing and baiting around tacs and citadels, I managed to separate a Magus long enough for me to burn it down and even got a small bonus kill on a Condor before falling.

Magus: 115,115,985.91
Condor: 6,255,078.62
Stabber: 29,302,224.84

Seeing the amount of small frigates from last fight, I take out a Thrasher to maybe pick one off. Failed to hold tackle on an interceptor and was left fighting a Stabber instead.

Thrasher: 12,436,679.91

Feeling a bit bored, I take out another Hurricane to change things up. I warp to an off-gate tac, get chased by a Wolf, overestimate my tracking and try to shoot at it instead of warping off. As I get tackled, I decide to switch to the Tengu instead. Surprisingly, I do alot of damage and even get it down to hull before burning out my guns like an idiot and potentially giving up a huge kill.

Hurricane: 62,390,851.84

Wanting redemption for my previous stupid mistake, I take out another Hurricane to see what I can get done. This time I get swarmed by small ships I have no chance of tracking and the Hurricane's slow align prevents me from getting away. Although I do manage to get a Confessor down to hull, he warps away before getting finished off, leaving me to die.

Hurricane: 61,508,701.69

Realizing I'm gonna run out of Hurricanes fast at this rate, I undock a Stabber to get back at those destroyers. Instead I catch a Harpy and try engaging it before realizing it was an afterburner fit. After what seemed like forever, I manage to get it down to armor but ultimately wasn't able to kill it fast enough before dying.

Stabber: 30,871,064.78

Scouting out the gatecamp again, I undock a Firetail and notice there wasn't too much there. Feeling like going after some ratters, I head deeper into Geminate and managed to catch a VNI in the middle of a haven. I was doing a great job of bringing it down until the rock formation of the haven started messing up my orbit and causing my ship to bounce back and forth and even staying still a few times. As a result, the Wasps of the VNI quickly bring me down. I wasn't even able to align out properly without bouncing off a rock.

Firetail: 18,927,699.65

I took out another Firetail and managed to catch another VNI... except this one had two full flights of ecm drones to pry him off. Realizing how cancerous it is to hunt ratters here, I don't think I'm even gonna go after ratters in Geminate again, especially not after how much I've fed to them lol.

Took out another Firetail to see if I can kill any frigates, noticed there was a Kitsune camping in BWF 70km away from the gate along with a carrier. Thinking about the fighter nerfs and checking the Kitsune pilot's fit on Zkill, I decided to try for the Kitsune, hoping I can kill it before I die. Unfortunately, I start my SAAR a bit late and I die a little too soon with the Kitsune in hull.

Firetail: 18,958,123.20

I tried again and made sure to start the repper earlier but kept the MWD on for an extra cycle after tackling the Kitsune. This resulted in me taking way more damage from the carrier, resulting in failure for the 2nd time.

Firetail: 19,615,031.80

Realizing there's not much I can do in BWF with that carrier camping the gate, I head to Catch. Starting off in a Thrasher, I noticed a Sabre. I wait on a gate to see if he'll engage. He does, but from 12km away, outside my falloff. I was already being scrammed so it would take too long to close the distance so I jump through and crash back to reset the fight. Me running away must've made my opponent feel secure as the next time we fought, he just rammed me. Now that I'm close enough to apply all my dps, I burn him down despite his dual faction shield extenders. It also doesn't help that he uses hail against me (a shield Thrasher).

Sabre: 112,303,509.83

I repair and come back again. This time he's in a Hecate eager for a rematch. I load Fusion and made sure to start the over 12km. At first I trade really well due to the Hecate's poor range but as he closed the distance, this stopped being the case. Ultimately, I go down with the Hecate in 1/3 hull.

Thrasher: 12,389,860.24

Later, I undock an Arty Wolf to roam around Catch. I find a small sized gang and manage to isolate a Retribution as he tries to keep me pointed. I turned around, approached it and watched as slowly died in front of all his friends.

Retribution: 56,098,749.60

After some more roaming, I find another fight with the same people+more. They chase me down with interceptors and frigates and I almost get a kill on the Malediction before it turned around and pulled range. Ultimately they were able to keep me pointed long enough for two flights of light drones to bring me down.

Was checking out BWF and noticed a Dramiel + a few others were following me around. I quickly looked up his zkill and found his Dramiel to typically be insta-lock arty fit. This makes sense considering he was gatecamping prior to following me, plus his ship was named "gatecamp". I hopped into a Firetail since it was fast enough that only the Dramiel had a chance of tackling me and weak enough that he won't hesitate to try it. After bouncing back and forth between some citadels, I finally get a chance to separate and kill him before dying to his buddies of course.

Dramiel: 60,567,947.47
Firetail: 24,500,800.07

Came back out in a Stabber and tried to burn down a ramjag before dying. Didn't go very well.

Stabber: 26,542,941.91

I opted to undock in a Thrasher this time knowing it would have a better chance vs the ramjag. I stayed about 100km off a stargate while aligned out to see if he would bite. Sure enough, the ramjag pilot got arrogant and thought he could tank both me and gateguns at once, leading to his death+two others who aggressed after him.

Jaguar: 41,256,736.09
Algos: 14,085,011.51
Thrasher: 14,096,884.35
Tristan: 16,264,584.61

Took out another Thrasher and found the same Dramiel pilot eager for revenge. His ship was now named "lowsec" so I assumed it's more suited for combat. No matter, I decided I wanted to try anyways. Once again, I was able to separate him from his blob and charged at him with everything overheated. Luckily, it seems he must've aggroed a split second before me as sentry guns contributed significantly to his death, killing him before he had the chance to pull range with afterburner. And of course, I die shortly after to a Gnosis that warped to him while I was tackled.

Dramiel: 59,859,153.21
Thrasher: 14,051,505.94

After, I took out a Stabber as I seemed to have cleared all the enemy frigates with my Thrashers, so now it's on to the destroyers! Ironically, after bouncing back and forth between citadels, it wasn't a destroyer that landed on top of me but a Slicer instead. He gets blaps and a Hecate warps to us just in time for me to move onto the next victim. Shortly after both die, my Stabber finally goes down to the Gnosis cavalry.

Slicer: 29,491,809.40
Hecate: 77,275,812.61
Stabber: 27,382,695.49

Now that they might be weary of engaging my Stabber, I switch back to the Thrasher. Unfortunate, there aren't any good targets for me and I get caught out by a Hecate this time.

Thrasher: 14,081,221.05

Seeing the destroyer population growing again, I reship into a Stabber and head back. I noticed a Svipul sitting on someone's wreck and immediately warp to it, hoping it's not a bait. Thankfully it wasn't and the Svipul almost immediately dies followed by myself. Don't worry about the Retribution that got on the Svipul kill, that was from an earlier battle. In fact, the wreck the Svipul was on was the Retribution's.

Svipul: 49,194,120.88
Stabber: 31,089,758.03

Took out a Thrasher again, due to the presence of more frigates to kill. Tried the same trick but was only able to catch a lowly Condor this time before falling.

Condor: 6,334,444.42
Thrasher: 14,104,922.59

This time, a fast locking Stilleto pods me and sends me all the way to Catch (recently changed my death clone). So now I'm stuck here for the next 20 hours. I take out an arty Wolf and find a Hecate on a gate. I warp to the sun to see if he follows and to get him off the gate. He follows and lands 100km away from me. I overheat my MWD and start burning towards him to land point ASAP in case he tries to leave. This turns out to be a huge mistake as I he also approaches me at over 3km/s. The distance between us goes from over 50km to 20km almost instantly and I'm not able to react fast enough to veer away in time before I get into overheated web range, resulting in my demise.

Wolf: 50,228,228.93

I come back in another Wolf, but this time my adversary has bought friends in Daredevils and a Falcon. Having never faced a Daredevil before, I underestimate it's speed and try to kite them out. Also, I wanted to get away from the Falcon. It turns out those Daredevils are actually somehow faster than my Wolf. They slowly catch up to me and get me webbed down. The Daredevil I was shooting at escapes in hull while I get eaten alive by the Kikimora.

Wolf: 48,129,304.34

Later that day, I undock a Stabber to roam around Catch. I run into a Sabre and Loki camping a gate together. I get caught in the bubble and start burning out of it. The Sabre rams me to land scram (excellent) and I scram him back. For some reason at this moment, the Loki warps away (was it scared?) and I finish off the Sabre. Not that it would've prevented me from killing it anyways.

Hecate: 109,243,905.76

The Loki then warps back and tries chasing me, but it's too slow and I get away.

Sometime later, I ran into a jag who redboxed me by himself. Willing to give it a shot, I shoot back only to find out my dual 180mms can't track him because he's afterburner fit. I deagress and reship into a Thrasher, hoping I can burn him down fast enough before he pulls range on it. Unfortunately, he's not stupid and pulls range as soon as his tank tank gets overwhelmed, resulting in another Thrasher wreck.

Thrasher: 14,057,700.38

Wanting to go deeper into Catch, I reship into a Wolf and run into another Jaguar. For the first ten minutes or so, the fight seems to be a stalemate as he does a great job tanking me and always burns back to gate and jumps through when he gets low (he never agressed unless he had me tackled). Eventually bad heat management catches up with me as my MWD gets almost burnt out. No longer able to heat my MWD, he makes a run for me with his heated MWD when he saw a good chance and gets tackle on me.

Wolf: 47,159,131.84

I reship into a Stabber and head back into Catch, not yet done for the day. I wind up near Brave staging and soon found a pretty big gang on my tails. Trying to split them up, I bounce between gates, tacs and planets in an attempt to get something juicy to catch. Sure enough, the opportunity arises and I find myself within 12km of a Garmur. For the longest time, I wasn't able to get scram on him, only web and just when I thought he would pull range, the exact opposite happens. I'm not sure what really happened with him there, but I'm not complaining as I was able to get this nice kill before dying.

Garmur: 151,017,242.85
Stabber: 26,137,717.21

Not sure if this counts, but I did get "solo" killmarks according to zkill. So I was running some T5 Gamma abyss sites in Jita with my "bait" Vagabond that's meant to get ganked. It's nearly impossible to alpha with Tornados due to its ADC and afterburner. Just burn in a direction to maximize transversal, pop ADC and lasb and loot Tornado wrecks. This is the first time I've been ganked like this and I think I did a pretty good job of splitting guns to get all them "solo" killmails lol. My only regret is neglecting to carry an mtu to scoop up the loot I can't fit in my ship.

Tornado: 73,099,055.19
Tornado: 83,853,590.28
Tornado: 83,670,562.83
Catalyst: 12,641,446.42
Tornado: 83,825,773.37

Later that day, I get popped in my Firetail after jumping into a gatecamp in BWF.

Firetail: 18,683,636.48

I decided to head to Catch and undock a Stabber as BWF seems too crowded at the moment and noticed a random Sabre off a gate and easily picked it off. Probably the remnants of a Goon fleet.

Sabre: 122,347,798.71
Capsule: 44,376,102.75

After, the local Brave pilots started getting bloodthirsty and sent out a small gang to catch me. I managed to isolate and kill a Flycatcher after some ping-pong before burning out and narrowly escaping enemy tackle and warping off to a safe.

Flycatcher: 122,479,141.03

After some MORE bouncing around, I manage to get a Stilleto burning after me at 4km/s some distance away from my gang. Wanting to try for this kill, I turn around with MWD heated instead of warping off and hope I can slingshot him. It works and I get a Stilleto kill a few seconds later but he manages to buy enough time for the rest of his gang to land tackle on me. I start shooting at a Sabre here and even managed to get it into armor before falling.

Stilleto: 39,880,910.65
Stabber: 25,936,878.56

Headed back into Catch with a Thrasher this time and got caught on a gate. Tried and failed again after that.

Thrasher: 12,449,550.23
Thrasher: 12,334,392.25

Decided to take out a Stabber again, found a Svipul on a gate who aggressed me. So I ran him down. Shortly after, a huge destroyer fleet arrives and alphas me off.

Svipul: 75,090,172.24
Stabber: 28,266,447.44

After waiting a while for the destroyer fleet to leave, I head back into Catch with a Stabber and managed to grab a Stilleto trying to ram me before dying.

Took out a Wolf and ran into a gatecamp with a Sabre, Stilleto and Scimitar. I try burning away while shooting the Stilleto, but their logi keeps it alive. Eventually, it lands scram and I die.

Wolf: 46,912,350.08

Noticing the Sabre had scram+web and realizing it must not have much shield buffer, I take out a Hurricane with the hopes of alphaing through the Scimitar reps. Thankfully, the alpha was enough and the Sabre bleeds into armor with every shot. A Machariel shows up near the beginning of the fight to aid the gatecampers, but it's not enough to prevent the Sabre from dying.

Sabre: 109,929,697.64
Hurricane: 62,008,982.75

Now that my jump clone timer is off cooldown, I head back to Geminate and enter BWF in a Thrasher. There's a big gatecamp as usual, but I notice I spawned quite close to a Sentinel who happened to be off the gate nearby. I run him down with everything overheated and kill the Sentinel almost before the other ships have started shooting me.

Sentinel: 57,361,122.99
Thrasher: 12,394,910.78

I try again in a Stabber and manage to burn out of the BWF camp (none of the frigates tried chasing me for some reason). After playing some cat and mouse, I manage to isolate a Retribution to kill. Unfortuneatley, a Curse arrives and neuts off my scram and web, allowing the Retribution to escape and leaving me a sitting duck.

Stabber: 26,794,773.96

I try again with a Thrasher but didn't get anything close to me upon jumping through, so I just die horribly.

Thrasher: 12,393,659.08

Realizing there's not much I can do in BWF, I decided to take out a Hurricane to lowsec. Got a Wolf to agress me in front of gateguns, the result was as expected.

Wolf: 52,272,237.76

Later, I noticed a pair of Gnosises wanting to catch me. So I let them and take one out with the help of gate guns. The other guy who got on the killmail was from a previous battle.

Gnosis: 47,391,136.67
Hurricane: 62,497,100.01

Tried to take out another Thrasher into BWF again, failed as usual.

Thrasher: 12,428,213.62

Gave up on BWF, and took out another Hurricane to play with the Gnosises. This time, one of the Gnosis pilots reshipped into a brawling Hurricane and was able to dps my kiting Hurricane down before gate guns+my artillery could kill him. Still it was really close.

Hurricane: 62,492,221.35

Tried again this time with the intention of doing a better job of keeping the brawling Hurricane at range with my linked webs. It was working pretty well until his buddy in the Gnosis got a really early jam with his EC-300s, causing the brawling Hurricane to once again close range and take me out. I wanted to try again one more time and actually kite these guys rather than relying on longish webs, but they logged off soon after this.

Hurricane: 63,743,646.80

Instead, I managed to alpha a Hecate who aggressed my cane thinking he was in nullsec lol.

Hecate: 75,995,683.81

Later that day, I took out the same Hurricane with the intent on learning how to kite with it better. Although I wasn't able to kite very much, I did get 4 killmarks from small ships aggressing me in front of gate guns.

Crow: 34,098,372.02
Hyena: 57,756,290.52
Cormorant: 11,705,119.33
Confessor: 63,797,382.53
Hurricane: 62,150,496.55

Unsatisfied with the last fight, I took out another Hurricane in the hopes of being able to kite out something bigger. Unfortunately, I get greedy and try to alpha a Garmur, making me suspect and allowing the blob to collapse in on me.

Hurricane: 62,426,221.53

Out of Hurricanes in the area, I decide to spam Thrashers for a bit.

This one died to a gatecamp:
Thrasher: 12,432,613.54

These two died to the ADC:
Thrasher: 12,360,702.69
Thrasher: 12,415,013.86

And this one was able to isolate and kill a Stilleto under gate guns before dying:

Stilleto: 40,077,450.89
Thrasher: 12,398,684.85

Done with Thrashers, I take out a Stabber this time. Unfortunetly, I forgot I'm suspect and get tackled by the gate. I manage to kill a Slasher before dying.

Slasher: 564,659.39
Stabber: 27,624,754.60

Took out yet another Stabber into lowsec. Got two assault frigates taking me on one after the other due to lack of coordination. Revenge against the ADC!

Retribution: 50,582,991.81
Enyo: 40,369,318.41

After waiting out my suspect timer, I manage to isolate a Crow.

Crow: 46,640,275.98

Later a Thrasher agresses in front of gate guns.

Thrasher: 3,853,868.94

Probably is and will be my most impressive kill on this AAR despite the isk value, I managed to get a 1v1 against a brawling Vexor and won! I basically kept at range 10km for the entire fight using the Stabber's better range control, overheating the scram+web when the Vexor drifts too far away while making sure my drones are always attacking his. Not trying to kill his drones soon enough almost loses me the fight but luckily, the Vexor pilot more than makes up for this by not using EM drones and not fitting meta or tech II Blasters. Even then, the fight was still extremely close as I was in low armor with no more xlasb charges at the end.

Vexor: 31,860,664.79

Sometime later, I took the same Stabber out into Geminate and caught a ratting Moa.

Moa: 18,887,266.38

Before getting jumping into a Talwar fleet and getting alphad.

Stabber: 29,083,828.69

Took out another Stabber into Geminate and managed to kill a tackle Atron while burning out the BWF gatecamp. Later, I run into the same Talwar fleet and get alphad again.

Atron: 12,234,078.81

Took out another Stabber into Geminate, burned out of the gatecamp and was busy isolating some tackle when my internet died.

Stabber: 30,335,865.63

Out of Stabbers in Geminate now, I jump clone to Catch to find content there. After some short roaming, I ran into a gatecamp with two Sabres and a Falcon initially. Seeing that the Falcon was decently close (50km), I decide to load EMP and burn towards him and hope no Sabres will cut me off. Thankfully I was faster than the Sabres and get tackle+dps on Falcon. As the Falcon is in 2/3 armor, a Cynabal arrives to help and the Falcon burst jams me both fail to prevent the Falcon's death as the Falcon wasn't aligned and I couldn't die fast enough. After, the Falcon the falls, I turn to the Sabres and manage to get one into armor before dying. A huge mistake for this fight was assuming the Falcon was shield and loading EMP and not Fusion. Had I did, I could've gotten a Sabre kill too.

As of getting this kill, I am now the #2 Stabber pilot on zkill!

Falcon: 350,964,916.82
Stabber: 27,801,755.60

After, I took out another Stabber but lost it by jumping into a Goon fleet and getting alphad.

Stabber: 30,534,533.83

After waiting a while, I took out a Hurricane and jumped into maybe half the goon fleet. I was able to crash back to gate but got greedy and tried to alpha a motionless Kikimora. It took out all its shield buffer but jumped gate before I could shoot again. I died quickly after.

Hurricane: 67,091,350.41

Seeing that their fleet comp doesn't have many fast ships anymore, I take out a Stabber with the hopes of burning past their fleet. The plan would've worked if the Domis didn't have sentries which alphad me off.

Stabber: 30,534,533.83

Much later, I undock a Wolf as I'm not out of Stabbers in Catch too and ran into a gatecamp of a two Sabres, and a Daredevil. I burn off and shoot the Daredevil as I go, the Sabres are too slow to catch up so I start manually kiting the Daredevil. I do a much better job of kiting the Daredevil than last time as he was in low armor by the time he lands web, exploding shortly after.

Daredevil: 181,904,996.39

I head deeper into Catch and witnessed a fleet fight between Brave and Goons. Noticing a Malediction out of position, I quickly burn towards it and alpha through its tank.

Malediction: 49,223,183.03

Shortly after in that same fleet fight, I accidentally get too close to a Loki and get webbed down from 40km.

Wolf: 55,829,967.84

I took out another Wolf and managed to find an afk Ares near the gate.

Ares: 33,741,586.56

Later, I ran into a small gang from Brave and kite out/pick off their tackle Ares before falling.

Ares: 50,269,119.26
Wolf: 46,458,228.07

I take out another Wolf but lose it after getting scrammed by a brawling Retribution (he was in a kiting fit earlier).

Wolf: 49,039,967.17

Tried again with this knowledge in mine, my plan to kite was stopped short by a ramjag.

Wolf: 48,100,266.70

Went over to Catch and found a Sabre+Hecate+Scythe on a gate. I tried going for the Hecate, hoping the Scythe reps won't be enough to save it. Unfortunately, shield Hecates can have pretty good tank too.

Stabber: 26,145,303.56

Later, I found the same Sabre, Hecate and Scythe busy engaging some Brave forces. So I blapped the Scythe in the back as revenge.

Scythe: 14,579,437.09

Roaming around Catch, I find an RLML Caracal and ask to a 1v1 at sun. He accepts and I straight up out-brawl him once he lands on top of me.

Caracal: 27,145,471.51

Later, I try the same thing with an RLML Nosprey, thinking I could survive a single RLML reload. At first he was quite hesitant to start the fight at 0 and tried to warp to me at 50km. But I guess he later thought he could win either way and allowed me to warp ontop of him to start the fight. This fight was much harder than the Caracal as barely survive his reload with no XLASB charges left. He's tanks me so much that he was even able to reload and start shooting me again shortly before going down. Luckily, by this point he was out of tank as well and falls after getting me down to half hull. A single extra volley would've been the end of me. Looking back, shooting thermal instead of EM made this fight much harder than it should've been. I'm just used to T1 ships having only a single resist rig to cover their biggest hole but I guess active-tanked shield ships are an exception due to no better tank rigs being available for them.

Nosprey: 87,120,532.59

After repairing up, I go back into Catch and find a small gang chasing me. I juke around a bit using gates and tacs and eventually land on a gate with an Arty Wolf. For some reason (probably over-excitement), he decides to redbox me there and promptly explodes. Unfortunately, he bought just enough time for a Cynabal and Tengu to land tackle and kill me.

Wolf: 49,143,705.07
Stabber: 26,082,254.06

Headed back to Catch, managed to kill and die to a Raptor the exact same way as with the Wolf from earlier.

Raptor: 23,306,175.84
Stabber: 26,828,344.65

I undock a Stabber again and ran into a small gatecamp. I thought I could burn away from the cruisers and isolate the frigates, but the Curse instantly neuts me out, effectively scramming me and leaving me helpless. A Loki comes in later to speed up my death. I completely underestimate the Curse's neut amount and range here.

Took out a Stabber in Catch, tried to kill a ratting Ishtar, forgot that it's gonna have good EM resists for Sansha rats and that it's also gonna shoot into my EM hole, died like an idiot to an afk ratter thinking I was about to kill it until the very end.

Stabber: 27,133,272.79

Noticing that it was still afk, I refit another Stabber with an EM ward field instead of a web to have another go. Unfortunately, I run into some problems near Brave staging (which weren't there earlier) on the way.

Luckily, those problems consisted of a very slow Arty Wolf

Wolf: 65,486,843.72

and an over-enthusiatic Sabre.

Sabre: 95,965,631.63

The funny part is that the EM ward field payed off big time and was what allowed me to get the 2nd kill before dying to the enemy's decent amount of EM damage.

Stabber: 28,250,675.35

Later, I manage to catch a ramming Malediction and kill it before dying.

Malediction: 53,451,479.71
Stabber: 26,824,097.44

After that, I run into a Hecate on a gate. I jump through, and it follows and agressed as I spawned 12km away. I kill the Hecate and later a Thrasher but die to the cavalry.

Hecate: 558,755,562.21

More Stabbers, more feed. Tried to kill an Ares in the midst of a gang, got him down to hull before an Oneiros started repping him hard. Didn't notice that there earlier and paid the price for it. Accidentally burnt out all my mids as well preventing me from tanking any more.

Stabber: 27,378,376.53

Tried to go back for revenge but ran into a Sabre on the gate with no ones else in local. I agressed it thinking it was alone or had little backup (not enough to stop me from killing him). The Sabre tackles me and a Scimi and Dramiel jumps through the gate to our side and keeps both repped up while they slowly chip me down.

Stabber: 30,876,368.57

I went back into Catch again and managed to avoid the Sabre camp. I run into a group of Brave pilots and was able to isolate out a Keres and escape after killing it.

Keres: 267,691,970.89

Shortly after, I come into the scenario where a brawling Wolf is burning at me from 100km away. Thinking I could kill him quickly enough, I burn towards him, get scram+web and start bringing the pain. Unfortunately, his backup consists of ALOT of EM/Thermal damage and they burn me down before I could even go through half my xlasb charges. The Wolf escaped in hull, ADC having saved its life.

Stabber: 26,908,186.17

That's probably it for this AAR series. I'm now out of Stabbers and my wallet has begun to feel the pain. I'll do a tally up of all my kills/losses later and put it on the first and last post of this thread.

Final Tally

Total lost: 2,571,286,631.1
Total destroyed: 4,971,227,929.15

Efficiency: 66%

Final Thoughts

Some mistakes I catch myself making:

1. Being too suicidal and getting used to feeding
Often, I'll just whelp my ship if the slightest chance of killing something more expensive presents itself. Easy habit to get away with for T1 ships. Should probably try to dial this down a bit when I pilot something more expensive if I cared about my wallet at all.

2. Being complacent after getting a decent kill
Sometimes, once I get a kill that I know is valuable, my brain will just shut down and stop concentrating properly even when there could be a chance I get away from the enemy gang and live to fight another day or get another kill. I guess on a subconscious level, I realize the op has been a success and start resting too early.

3. Not manually piloting better
Not as big a deal as the above two, but my manual piloting could use some work I guess. Getting slingshotted/caught in an arty Wolf by a Jag or Daredevil is understandable for me but accidentally ramming a blaster Hecate is just plain embarrassing. Also, it was clear I had no clue how to properly fly and kite with the arty Hurricane and had to mainly rely on gate guns to get kills with it.
Locked
