So took out a new doctrine this weekend. Intended to try a rocket/missile combo and have people anchoring. It's not something i do often, maybe ever? /shrug

I'm not much of a missile girl, as Arche will attest. But rockets are short and missiles are long and how hard could it be? It's got some ewaring and some logiing... scouts r scouts... ok let's roll

Truth, not quite as many as I had hoped... but some of each of the roles, so that worked.

We got into it with some retributions on a gate. Their kirins were unbreakable. The target switch to the retribution went smoothly and he broke fast, then we got another two before we gave up on the kirins.

We took a fight with 4 T1 frigs at a small and we landed the timing fairly well. Managed to trap 3 of the 4 and they popped fast with the rockets. The Condor made a run for it but he finally popped at 60km. Archers & Drones... nicely done.

I requested a welp of sufficient standard. I wanted to end the fleet here as we'd been out for 2 hours... and honestly these suckers were SUPER cheap. I wanted to throw us up against something and see if we could take out anything on the edges. This monster had to suffice.

I have to say this was more complicated then I liked with the variable ranges on the dps... but I think could have been quite fun in Jackdaws lol. Christopher the traitor recorded my shame.

well hmm. looking over the recording... you had fought rets earlier in the fleet and knew how long it'd take to break them with rocket kestrels. w/o a little bit of clever landing or booshing or kiting, it was a certain welp without even a chance of a kill (they had logi...of the big kind...). it seems you just went right in (with rockets so xversal is even more needed than usual in frigs) to certain death so i must ask why why why. that is all.

All fights not taken, are lost. Each Kestrel is 4m and this the inaugural fleet of this experimental doctrine.

It's good to know the fleet can trade versus Retributions with a few Thalias.
