[AAR] Assault Frigates in Null-Sec 2019-02-16

Hi everyone. Popping an AAR down for Ged Sinak's Assault Frigates in Null-Sec fleet that was ran from Stacmon. He dropped corp again, so I guess I'll write an AAR in his place (again).

Space Warfare Development joined fleet for our roam, but he had to drop fleet before we started running. For our roam, we headed over to Ranger Regiment territory, and primarily went shotgunning for ratters.

After a few unfruitful shotgun attempts, we eventually catch and kill a VNI.

We see an Onyx off a gate with bubble up afterwards. We try to engage it, but then its friends from Ranger Regiment/Siberian Squads had 2 Cerberuses, 2 Ishtars, a Caracal and an Ares jump gate to try and grab us. They weren't able to hard tackle any of us, so we were able to get away without any losses (just a lot of hull damage on the Hecate). We run away from that gang for a few jumps, and we eventually run into a different Caracal. We tackle it, it jumps gate, and we snag it as it tries to crash back to the other side.

We loop around a bit, then head back to BWI, where we are able to catch a couple more VNIs.

The Onyx Cerb gang continues to chase us. They catch us at a gate, where they snag one of our Hawks, while the rest of us were able to get away.

We continue our retreat. At this point, a Gila and a Drekavac keep trying to chase us. We try to grab the Gila a couple of times, but when we finally do, it ends up having an ASB tank that we couldn't break, which resulted in the uncontrolled destruction of most of our fleet in our attempt to do so.

Those who weren't podded then make the solemn trip back to NSC without any special commotion. This eventually led to an NSC QRF, but I think that's best left separated to a different thread.
