So, unfortunately, both of the holes I wanted to take on this fleet closed on me, so it was another week of patrolling Syndicate.

As we were forming up, there was a VNI camping our station. Scout called he was 900 off the station. I assumed he meant 900m, he meant 900km. This means we undocked too late and lost our scout.

From here, we decided to burn out to Pure Blind as we weren't finding much in Syndicate.

On our way home, we found a Rattlesnake in nullsec. We didn't catch up to him until lowsec, and we decided, screw it, let's go for it. We dropped gateguns and went for it. And then he brought a friend, a Zealot. Without logi we didn't stand much of a chance. I should gone for a defang here, not sure why I didn't call it. Rattle was well over half shield by the time I died, so we feasibly could've killed him had he been alone.
