OBSERVATIONS
This is going to be a rough recollection as I'm 4 days out from the fleet.
One of our SALT. buddies was out and about so we had to kill him. We also managed to find an interestingly fit Keres.

Apparently Daniel was Salty., as he got a bunch of his friends together to come after us. Glen was rear-guard scouting and didn't fare so well. We set up in a plex at optimal and they sent in a suicide scout to get eyes on us, so we killed him. Then we sat around for a few minutes and moved on after they didn't want to come in and play.

They caught back up to us around Martoh, and we set up off the gate in Kin. I re-positioned us and unfortunately moved us off-alignment from the warp-in gate, which left us out of position to engage them when they dropped in. They decided to aggress and the gate guns helped take out a few of them and cause the rest to scatter. I was a bit fast pulling us off the gate - we potentially could have taken a few others of them out.

The highlight of the evening! We were contacted by a member of RvB who wanted to know if we were interested in helping him blow up his carrier. I wish I had that kind of money laying around
It took a while to set up, but once the cap cyno'd in on us we used our drones to take out his fighters, and quickly noticed that he was smartbombing the drones. Some strategic maneuvering helped to keep the drones alive for the most part, and while our drones focused on the fighters we focused on the Carrier. We had a few visitors show up that needed blowing up, and eventually we did manage to take out the carrier. If he had gotten backup we'd have been toast, as the tank on that monster was huge. GFs and an invitation to give him a shout should we want to do more arranged fights ended the evening on a great high note.

PERFORMANCE REVIEW AND SUMMARY
I am still struggling with proper planning and decision making when it comes to the actual fight. I'm getting better with pre-roam planning, which helps, but only being able to fly once per week is definitely a hindrance to making things come naturally.
