[Solitude QRF] Typhoon in a high sec den is not a bait

The corporation SQUINGEL. declared war on UNI yesterday and the war became active today. Right from the start it was clear that Solitude was in risk of getting war targets.

members of that corp had flown in and out of Boystin occasionally during the day and had managed to kill one miner. Some plans were made and ships prepared but no action had been taken yet. During the fanfest stream people were too busy drooling over PI updates but after the stream ended it was time to start working.

There was one WT in Boystin. I called the info in comms and took out my prepared Typhoon to do some baiting.

If you have any suggestions for how to make a more obvious bait you can tell me.

And then what happened then:
Against all expectations the bait worked. It didn't take long for a VNI to warp in at ZERO.
I started bashing the VNI while calling rest of the fleet members to warp in. Before the full fleet lands on grid a talos also joins the fight by warping in at zero. The VNI doesn't last too long and we start working on the Talos.
At this point manage to finally switch to right overview tab (the one I had was so full of drones that I had no idea what ships were on field).

And behold! An Orthrus is on grid right next to me. Presumably he also warped in at zero. The talos is almost dead and I call the Orthrus as secondary.
The orthrus was (already?) pointed and webbed. After the talos was killed we moved to orthrus and then finally to the lone Caracal that was still on field.

From the battle report it seems like one of the Vexors managed to escape.

Total losses: 58 mil
Total killed: 1618 mil
Isk efficiency: 95.5%
Almost one billion isk in loot was collected and deposited in donations container.

Commentary:
-Since we had already done talks about WT killing earlier we had ships ready for short notice action. This is fundamental part of any quick response fleet. Ready ships = quick fleet.
-How did that bait work!? I don't understand this at all.
-Should have maybe killed that talos first before VNI. Though the VNI was there first and already took heavy damage before the Talos came so it was hard to decide fast wether it is better to kill this badly damaged tanky ship first or that glass cannon.
-Make sure you have the right overview before the fight.
-Remember to fith those rigs in cargo.

Btw I probably should not have approached the Talos straight but the Orthrus did most of the damage to me anyways so :shrug:

May I please remind everyone to be on the standing fleet and on coms. Miner please fit tanky and with tackle. This means we can just undock some catalyst and counter gank.

ups had the choice between the caracal and an iskalyst, chosed the caracal because i thought it was already fitted... and it will take too much time to fit it in the other one

and it wasn't even insured too...
