Waaay too late on this AAR, but here it goes. We did some standard foxhunting. Our baits were flying a Thorax and a Moa. Eddie went into Iges and found russians. Socket was closed were too eager on getting on his kill mail. 4 T3s, two strats and a rapîer is a completely adequate QRF doctirne for a lone, fearsome moa. Now, you can understand I wasn't too eager on dropping the fleet in there, as they had effectively bomber killers (drones + low sig and huge tank).

Eddie reshipped and went on with hunting.




Eddie seemed to be a a magnet for content. Together with another hunter they were jumped by a Phantasm, a Gila, an Orthrus and an SFI. Dropping on them would be considered suicide, but we were without action for long and thirsting for some kills, either theirs of ours. 50-50. We hoped on the shock and awe effect, because if the russians fought back, we would be dead. One of our hunters hardtackled the orthrus and our plan worked, they scattered (russians are risk averse, due to Eve being relatively expensive, so they value ISK more) and we finished the orthrus. The phantasm was popping it's head in and out, but eventually went away.
