First of all, we don't know how much of a difference it would be if we tanked for thermal. Perhaps they won't spawn much more than what we got, perhaps they had more dps and could trim the caracals fast enough to keep bashing the structure. It's also possible they found a cheesy way to avoid the damage, or just brought even more logi than we had (just because one osprey showed up, doesn't mean they didn't have more). Perhaps going in with less logi would have spawned less people. Perhaps Titus' extra spawn was just a relapse of the old fleet that despawned from earlier.
Lots of questions, mostly because we just tried beating it a couple of times without really checking the mechanics, thus not really gaining much of an insight in the site and how it works. We gained some, but not as much as we could.
