Gate guns did not stop shooting

I was in a roaming in a Hookbil, saw a GNI on the gate, I aligned out, shoot GNI, warped away, waited for half minute, warped back... and was killed by guns. https://zkillboard.com/kill/64537201/

I dont understand what means record to reconsider... I did ntot have any UI interaction...

Can anybody please help undersstanding that?

You shot and scrammed the Akidagi gate after warping back in.

Oops ;)

I did the same on my first ever magic Merlin fleet - thankfully I had logi to save me!

Lol, sounds like I was drunk... In fact, I did play via the laptop (smaller screen, somehow different overview, even though same e-uni settings)... Maybe that caused me making a mistake...

How can one lock the gate instead of a ship...? I thought I did apply DMG to it and now I see I was only shooting gates ... :( so stupid
