I don't remember half of the stuff that went on as fights morphed from one to another and one corp would warp off the field only to be replaced by another. I will link the battle reports, some blend together and some don't, but feel free to post what you recall.
We did lose a lot of ships, but some came from bombers, as new players got their first chance at bombing live targets, and the others came from fighting shiny ships! We would have padded the kill side, but a few got away in absolute, last sliver of structure (Typhoon, and a few others) and we lost a few shiny ones ourselves.
Great job by all, people tackled and stayed on primary, reshipped and came back for more. This is just the battles I was in, but it spans about 5 hours?

Re: NSC taking out the trash on a Sunday
I am not sure of the validity of this statement, but we do seem to have overwhelming or near overwhelming force come to visit on a regular basis. This does not always stop us from engaging, but the bomber fleet seemed to have some effect regardless of the learning curve issues...
What if we asked the NSC community to skill into and stock a few bombers as part of their standard kit? You get 15 of us on grid with those babies when they decide to bring in a ton of force and let's see what pops. With a little practice, this type of response to a fight we would normally pass on would likely have an effect on their tactics... especially when we suspect a cyno.
This was a busy day. I participated on and off as I could. I need to get better at battlefield awareness so I can avoid getting dead so often (lost 4 ships, but nothing blingy.)
Great job by everyone keeping the enemy on their toes. We sent them packing several times throughout the day.

Here is the battle report for the bombing run we did on the JH- gate: http://killfeed.eveuniversity.org/?a=ki ... _id=433733
This was my first chance to try out using bombs. It was a little confusing as most of us participating were brand new to it I believe. The targets were setting up a gate camp with bubble on the gate. The plan was to have a tanked industrial fly to gate as bait for us to launch our bombs at. They took the bait and we attacked managing to catch a Sabre and his pod I believe in the blast. Unfortunately, because ight was basically on the defining we were a bit slow and they did manage to kill our bait.
Most of our bomber losses, including mine, came after the attack when things kind of broke down and we started trying to shoot what ever targets remained. I lost mine because I was dumb enough to warp my cloaky ship to a wreck at 0 and uncloaked myself.
I had a lot of fun and learned a great deal about flying the Nemesis. I think we definitely have enough bomber pilots at NSC to do these on a regular basis for some our regular visitors.
