GANG: 6 Man NSC Roam Into Scary Low Sec

OUR GLORIOUS GOALS: Go into Solitude and kill as many carebears as possible using an interceptor tackle and cruiser DPS.

WHAT WENT DOWN: We roamed around solitude for a long time without a glimpse of content except for a Nidhogur who wanted to play with us (but we didn't want to play with his fighter friends so we left). Eventually we got bored and went into Aridia. There we encounterd what looked like a fighteable fleet (MNI, Equec, Cerebus, Tempest, other small things). We were really bored so we decided to engage. Immediately half our fleet died. (https://zkillboard.com/kill/63030108/ , https://zkillboard.com/kill/63030114/ ) May have had something to do with the 2 T3 cruisers that showed up that I didn't notice (but that people had pointed out to me). But we managed to kill the Maulus Navy Issue (https://zkillboard.com/kill/63030107/ ), so that's something. We scattered, then regrouped at a safe.

The FC (me) then got stupid and died in a way that he'd rather not talk about, but also learned a valuable lesson about insta-locking scrams ( https://zkillboard.com/kill/63030171/ ). The remaining 2x Caracal's and the Gnosis (note to self bring hyperspatial battlecruisers next time) extracted safetly back to High Sec with the help of Arrek who, unlike me, wasn't an idiot, and didn't die stupidly.

HOW TO IMPROVE ON SMALL GANG ROAMS: I mean first of all I've got to get better at deciding what we can and can't fight. In retrospect I really shouldn't have taken that fight and we all should have gone home through solitude to kill more care bears. I also need to get better at not dyign to instalocking scrams like a dumb. Maybe also brushing up a little on the big players in an area before I take a gang into their space. That's all i can think of right now, but I'm sure more will come up eventually.

It was still a fun roam and we got to see some content, and that is all I was hoping for. I am looking forward to the next one.
