Was heading to Harroule to do the last part of Jet-Set Hooligans. Traveling from Boystin in Soli, i had to go through Null to get there. Well perhaps i should've gotten a scout or perhaps made a ship on the other side of null and use a jump clone because i got caught like a deer in the head lights... Won't make that mistake again... Lesson learned

I'd guess you were probably trying to use your forum password, that's not the correct one for the killfeed - you can find the right password in the thread about Uni Passwords.

As you said, unscouted travel through null is dangerous, but you could have refit for travel and MWD+Cloak trick to make things a bite safer (not that it would help much in bubbles).

If you need to travel in nul-sec you better have +1 scout: either your alt or ask corp mates (many are willing to help around NSC).

Also, I would strongly advise flying a travel fit: MWD+Cloak (see https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Cloak_trick) + probably Warp Core Stabs
