Why are deadspace armor platings so inexpensive?

I would like to ask a question about deadspace modules. Why are modules like the Coreli A-Type EM Plating so cheap compared to other modules like the Centii A-Type Adaptive Nano Plating?

Because they are very rarely used.

For pvp you generally use adaptive nano plating because you need resist against all damage types.

For pve you use active hardeners because they give more resist.
