Exploring in Hi-Sec
Hey folks, so I keep reading that exploring in hi-sec isn't worth it. I've really just started, but I worked out a little circuit of 7 or 8 systems and I seem to hit around 30-40million ISK in about 30-60 minutes just running through them. I've run that circuit on like four different days and hit on 3 of them, with the other still a couple million. Am I just getting lucky or is that not very much?

It sounds like you found a nice area of highsec for yourself with plenty sites available and had maybe somewhat above-average luck with the loot. Often, the highsec sites are highly contested, and you need to spend more time finding sites than actually running them.
I'd just continue for now if you're enjoying it - but you're free of course to try out sites in low/null and especially WH as well. In WHs, 30-40 mil can be expected in pretty much each of the sites that you find.

Re: Exploring in Hi-Sec
I'd salivate at an average of 50M ISK on multiple days in High Security Space while Scanning and Probing.
On good days in Null Security Space I'd get about 100M in Data and Relic Sites every three hours.
If you like being an explorer try the Winter Nexus Event.
The competition is fierce, but the rewards, in ISK and thrill, are great.

Is this with Relic/Data analyzer IIs? I'm about done with my Archaeology V training, but if 33m every hour is it I'll be disappoint lol. Exploration really does need a block of time to be set aside as it's just a huge hit or miss.On good days in Null Security Space I'd get about 100M in Data and Relic Sites every three hours.

However, you might have less competition, be more skillful or have a home base much closer to Null Security Space. There's a lot to consider. Do what's fun.

These days I explore in Low Security Space so I don't have to worry about Interdiction Spheres. First I scan a ring of Systems, hack the Relic and Data Sites and do low level DED Sites. Then I reship and do higher level DED Sites. Then I reship again and hack-tank Chemical Labs. If I have time I'll reship again and suck up the Gas Clouds.

Hmm - maybe I'll take a look at low sec again. Null is great usually, expectations are clear, but with the warfront going on I might need to move up security status a bit until I get the warp/cloak down. These days I explore in Low Security Space so I don't have to worry about Interdiction Spheres.
I'm usually docked at PC9, so there's at least a few sites to scan down in the loop.
