"Journey" Screenshot Competition with Razorien

EVE Online photography aficionado Razorien has kindly offered to judge a screenshot competition. Razorien is well-known for his impressive portfolio of EVE screenshots, depicting the many facets and aspects of this great game we all love playing. For the Uni's 20th Anniversary, this screenshot competition will take all entries pertaining to the theme of "journey" - in the widest sense of the word.

The banner image depicts Razorien's Astero, which was used to document and photograph the final leg of Katie Sae's journey as the Signal Cartel CEO visited every single system in New Eden and Anoikis, a monumental effort that took over a decade. Razorien was able to capture the final moment of this great achievement, with Signal Cartel escorting Katia to the very final system.

Contest

• Participants are asked to submit one more screenshots as reply to this post, in the theme of "Journey". We ask every entry to come with a title and a short description of the entrant's interpretation of the image pertaining to "journey".
• A personal journey? A prior experience? Travel in the literal sense? Feel free to get as creative with the prompt as you desire.
• Entries should be submitted by the 13th of April, 2024, at which point Razorien will begin a deliberation period.
• This competition is public and open to non-EVE Uni members.

Rewards

• The first place entry, judged by Razorien, will win the very same Astero Razorien was flying during the "Great Fleet" escort of Katia Sae. It has not been flown since and contains a unique fit that is unable to be equipped in-game on new ships. Furthermore, this Astero will be accompanied by the incredibly rare Yoiul Festival YC121 SKIN, delivered by direct character injection. Furthermore, our friends at CCP will give 3000 PLEX to the winner of the screenshot contest.
• Second and third place entries, as judged by Razorien, will also receive some goodies courtesy of EVE University and donors. Furthermore, CCP will donate 1500 PLEX and 1000 PLEX to second and third place, respectively.

The Daleks' relic, or There and Back Again

It happened some time ago, when I was a very young pilot. During the Daleks invasion, many wormholes opened up, releasing valuable relics into space. Back then, I was not yet trained enough to engage the invaders in combat zones, so to avoid the pirates, I traveled to the very edge of our galaxy, to the Gererique system in the Solitude sector. Not sure how to get the images to display like some of the other folks are getting images to display, but this is one of my favorite pics of a Heron.

Where was I going? I have no idea, but this really evokes the idea of motion almost as if going on a Sunday drive - only in space. There was probably no particular destination. I was likely just out for the beautiful views and potential thrills.

Getting to this was a fair number of jumps - the very essence of a journey. I traveled to this system primarily just to see this, but, I also visited the Kyonoke Memorial while out there.

Taken after the Astrahus "EUni 20th Birthday Cake" finished anchoring in WHC's new home J105433. After a 24 hour period of constant hole control, the Astrahus was anchored on the day of the 20th anniversary of EVE University. This moment was the culmination of several months of work and planning after the eviction of WHC from Innuendo. The journey to get here was difficult and stressful for all, but as a community we accomplished it together.
