EVE Uni Fight Club Presents: Praxis Fight Club

Friends, capsuleers, Unistas: is there anything more proper that having the last Fight Club of this year feature the Praxis, the Society of Conscious Thought battleship bounused for a number of weapon systems, easy to fly, and just ready for meme-worthy fun?

Yes, that's right. We're closing out this fine year with a Praxis Fight Club. Now, neither Arkady Marten or I are sure of the plural of Praxis, but we did notice that the phrase "Praxis Fight Club" does give you some interesting anagrams, such as "burp calix fights" and "abc fight pilus rx".

HOWEVER, one thing that we do know is on 30 Dec 2022 @ 20:00 EVE, we will have BS Flux Graphitic (sorry, forgot to turn the anagram generator off) Praxis Fight Club. Unfitted hulls will be available on loan for 0 ISK on contract; it will be up to you to bring the modules, rigs, and charges to make that Praxis extra spicy. And in the best spirit of holiday space violence, there will also be some prize giveaways.

We will using the standard UFC rules for the fights. For your ship fit, we're using mostly the UFC fitting rules

  • FORBIDDEN MODULES: You may not fit Remote Sensor Dampener modules on your ship.
We announcing this now so that you will have plenty of time to devise devious Praxis fits and get your modules, rigs, and ammo to Dairek's Chateau. On the 30th, you'll be able to get a loaner Praxis via contract, fit your ship, and join the fracas that is UFC.

Please join us in Slays on Friday, 30 December at 20:00 EVE. Let's end this year with a bang. Get your fitting hat on and start your scheming!

For fun! For glory! For our beloved Uni! We hope we will see you there.

Large Micro Jump Drives are Tech 1, Meta 1. Perhaps I sense an implicit question here? Of course MJDs are allowed in Praxis Fight Club.

They allow for interesting variations in the fight by MJD'ing away and then using their long range weapons against a slow-boating opponent. Or MJD away only to see the opponent warp off because lol. Also, they have a capable counter in web scramblers. Why deny this kind of fun? Damps are the only thing explicitly off the table for this party.

Quite psyched for this--PFC is going to be a whole lot of fun.

Is it a draw, or who would be considered the winner in this case?

Being able to warp off from the fight ends the fight in a draw. If a pilot doesn't think the fight is going to go their way, it is always a good thing to warp away from the fight. In fact, I would even call it a win, except for the fact that in UFC it is a draw.
