OK, so as there is an Open Ganking Fleet going out at 20.00hrs FC'd by one of the guys from Safety, and we can't suicide gank on our Uni toons, we have a few options here!

A - Go out with Safety on an alt

B - Go out Anti-ganking with Tal (https://forum.eveuniversity.org/viewtop ... 6&t=123905). Join the Po-po and try to kill flashies around Stac!

3 (lists are hard) - Let's go Chaos mining! The point of Mining with uu is to hang out, and mining/making isk is a side-product of that community-building. So, let's give Tal & co some bait and see if it draws Safety and friends towards us, or will they think it's sus and stay away? lol.

Plan - CHEAP VENTURES or anything you don't mind losing ONLY (No Orcas, just in case, but if you have anything you want to test if it will survive til the cops arrive, or lolfits, go for it lol). Anyone with alts that are NOT blue to Uni can come suicide on us to bring Concord out to keep us company. Mine aligned. Volunteers for scouts for gates/spais to let us know if Safety are headed our way
Be really annoying by docking up and not giving a hoot if they come around, cos our priority is having a bit of fun together anyway. Bring memes for local (the fun, cheery ones, not the salty, crying or abusive ones). If you want to mine, we'll do it safely avoiding Safety! (that makes perfect sense on a Chaos Mining Fleet hehe!). If you just want to hang out on comms and have a party, that's absolutely fine too!

How many drinks does it take before you can't dock up faster than a gank fleet can get in system? Let's TEST!

Who is this suitable for: (bonus points if you know what film that's from)

Comms: Uni mumble, On Demand Channel (look towards the bottom of the mumble rooms). It will be OPEN comms (obviously, or it would be hard to chat) and R rated, so get your headphones on if Nan is in earshot! Even if you can't get in-game, hop on mumble and say hello!)

What should I bring? New players should be able to get a free fitted Venture on contracts. Some good soul might take pity on us and bring some loaner barges, if you don't own one yet. Or you can bring Boosters (like Orcas) or whatever else you fancy. I did take out an Ares fitted for mining once: it works but you get about a teaspoonful of ore then hafta go empty your cargo hold, so I don't recommend those Basically, bring whatever you usually bring to the regular weekend mining ops. Add fireworks

Why: Cos we like a challenge!

Special rules: Alcohol allowed. It's a party after all! Coffee/juice/water etc also allowed

Honestly, you can bring it if you're prepared for it to possibly die. I don't mind what anyone brings, and it can be jammers, firework boats, whatever you fancy, on the ONE condition that you will be able to giggle about it if it dies

Genuine test fits are also welcome. And if we get hit, we will all learn from it too. Which I consider a win! Maybe not to drift out of alignment, or to be faster than the guy next to you, or maybe that 12 drinks is 1 too many to dock in time lol.

Oh PLEASE HAVE EMPTY HEADS! And it might be good to set a clone up in Stac or Slays or thereabouts, just in case

Thanks to those fearless folk who came out last night, despite the possibility of death and destruction! As it turned out, there was no death and destruction (other than to some of our livers), and the Rohk annoyingly survived! Here's to more luck getting rid of it next month
