Re: PVE Trig Invasion experimental 2020-05-31 00:15

o/. Arrek requested I post here after convoing him.

So, there are a few features of triglavian invasion sites (that seem to have held on the anti-trig side at least based off of hearsay) that would give the current fit some issues, at least in the old Chapter 1/2 meta.

  • Damaviks/Kikimoras will come in really close by NPC rat standards, under 8km for each. This makes applying to them with Battleship guns nigh impossible without heavy application support (e.g. grapplers/vindi webs)
  • For Minor Conduits & up, you'll have Leshaks that kite at 40km at 1 km/s. Makes applying to them particularly hard, especially with slow heavy drones
  • Despite trig guns doing Th/Ex, the sites have an omni damage profile, owing to Liminal rats that throw EM/Kin damage missiles
  • Though this seems to be gone with chapter 3 based on Neugeniko's spreadsheet, invasions in chapter 1 & 2 punished drones in their damage and velocity through system effects, disincentivizing drone boats

With all that said, while the Domi has been off meta from what I've seen, some changes could be made to improve the fit. I threw some stuff together:

A battery is swapped for a grappler so that these Domis will have some means to easily take care of scram rats. One EANM in place of a thermal hardener since EM/kin resists do matter a bit. A DDA in place of a plate since I wouldn't expect domis to have buffer issues, particularly in emerging/minor conduits. And some smattering of light/medium drones for the same reason as having the grappler.

I was a bit concerned for the domi without any application support, as a scram could've been extremely hard to shake off. But this should be able to survive and run emergings/minors with a few of these. Just watch out for the neutral logi - I heard it's made a return to hisec :P

Re: PVE Trig Invasion experimental 2020-05-31 00:15

Hello Arrek, great initiative! I might join another time.

I have been running on the EDENCOM side (killing Trigs) for 2 days now and want to share a few pointers as well:

As Drebin says:
* Trig frigats and destroyers gets real close under 10km range
* Crusiers and battlecruisers stay at 25km ca
* Battleships try for 40km

* Drones will NOT be targeted and shot it seems. I had no problems with mine even one single time.

* I could tank all sites, even major conduits, in my Praxis with 110.000 EHP and all resits at 67%

You will want to bring a few warp distrupters or the last wave will warp off. You will also want to bring one combat scanner to scan down Triglavian ships hiding in safespots.

Also, I'v made and been updating the following two wiki-pages with info:
https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Triglavian_Invasion
https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Triglavi ... mbat_sites
