Univision song contest - 5 June 2020 @ 20:00

For those poor folks who have never heard of the Eurovision Song Contest it's an annual song competition which was first started in 1956. Participants are mostly European countries, but Australia now participates also. The contest is an amazing mix of cheesy and camp, with often crazy staging.

This year's contest was cancelled due to coronavirus. I've been coping with the disappointment by bingeing old Eurovision entries, and I'd like to invite you to join me for an evening of Eurovision.

This will take place on 5 June 2020 at 20.00. It will take place in public mumble and Class (EVE Uni).

How this will work:

1) I'll pick out some Eurovision classics
2) Come along at the time above and pick up a score card
3) I'll link the songs in channel for everyone to watch together, we'll hang out in mumble to chat, kindly ridicule and drink (latter is optional)
4) You give the songs a mark as we watch them
5) At the end you submit your marks and we'll come up with our overall winner

(Yes, graphic design is my passion. No, please don't sue me, Eurovision)

Thanks, Damien. Method and songs are all worked out for this evening, though. Hope to see you there.
