[MINING] Alpha's Wonky Wocky Wheelbawow Shared Can (9th April)

Post by Alpha GoreSnorkel »

  • Fleet form-up will start at 18:30 Saturday, 9th April 2022, in Slays at Willy Wonkas Rocklet Factory to ensure that we all have the suitable ships and needed modules and crystals.
  • I have plenty of Covetors and Hulks available as loner ships. See fits below.
  • Loaner Ventures T1 and T2 will also be available.
  • We will fracture the moon chunk at 18:30. Mining will start shortly after this.
PLEASE NOTE: We are at PEACE, but we still need to be careful as we may get gankers pestering our fleet.

IMPORTANT: All EVE Uni members and their ALTs are welcome at the Shared Can.

Fleet will be the 'Alpha's Wonky Wocky Wheelbawow', and the mumble channel will be the 'Stacmon & Slays > Quad Mining.'

When to LASER ON & LASER OFF:
  1. Write "LASER ON" in fleet chat when you turn on your lasers for the first time to start mining. Do not put anything in front of laser on or laser off on a line.
  2. If you go AFK during fleet and dock up, please put "LASER OFF" and "LASER ON" when or if you return to mining. Do not put anything in front of laser on or laser off on a line.
  3. Write "LASER OFF" when you leave the fleet at the end of the Shared Can. Do not put anything in front of laser on or laser off on a line.
Examples of correct laser(s) on:
[00:44:14] Kentaro Smith > Laser On
[00:44:24] Kentaro Smith > Lasers On
[00:44:36] Kentaro Smith > Laser on
[00:44:46] Kentaro Smith > Lasers on
[00:44:55] Kentaro Smith > lasers on

Hi all,

Here is the payout sheet for the Shared Can. Please check to make sure you time on grid is correct.

The payout was 1,652,775,325 ISK; there were two reasons for this, firstly the Wonka moon isn't the most valuable moon we have, and secondly we didn't mine as much this week (a slower than usual mining rate and we mined for one hour less 3.5 hours vs 4.5 hours).

Is this happening today? I don't see an updated post for May, but it's on the calendar.

I attended the May 14 edition of this event. I want to thank everyone who helped me. I was kind of lost. I have to say this was a spectacular display of mining power. Even if you are not a miner, this is worth doing just to see the scope of it. I hope to attend future editions.
