If someone did one of these for WoW, it would be skewed towards the bottom end. Which is probably why I like Eve so much: people are actually mature enough to know how to type in real sentences.

i'm 28. This is also one of the things i like about the game, even though age doesn't determine maturity, i can say that eve has the most "mature" community out of the previous mmos i've played.

47 - and I can still bench press my weight, more than once I do software development in Massachusetts. Obviously, I'm not the oldest Eve player, but far from the youngest. Still pretty new to the game and looking forward to digging in deeper in the coming months - if the new Incarna update doesn't melt my vid card (fail, Jeez - people will believe anything)...

40 year old Scottish chap here. The community does seem more mature here, certainly local is nowhere near as bad as trade chat in Warcraft (which I still play). I'd like to (probably at great risk) defend WoW though. I've met, and been in guilds, with plenty of older people who have careers, kids etc. In fact a study has shown that the average age of Warcraft players is 30;
