New Lanyards - Ordering Info

I'd be interested in lanyards if they were just EVE University, rather than Ivy League Navy.

Um....if you read the original post, they would just say "Eve University" and have our emblem. You can see that at the link. There might be enough interest, lemme make some adjustments and see what I can do. Do ya'll like the metal/plastic buckle or would all metal or all plastic be better?

Given my druthers, 3/4" Nylon with all metal construction would be my preference, but thats the lanyard purist in me speaking

Plastic is ok, but parts tend to wear quickly (especially when buckles are involved).

My .02 isk.

EDIT: I guess I dont care so much about the woven vs. screened logo, I have both and they both seem to wear fine.

oooh, sure enough, I thought this was just the old lanyards coming back... this new design though, definitely something I'd want.

I'd vote for all metal, myself. It would make it feel much more sturdy. I have no idea which I'd prefer between the heavy nylon and the woven styles, though. Do you have any sort of pictures that show what the difference is?

This site does a decent job at explaining the difference between a standard nylon lanyard and a woven one:

The standard Nylon lanyard has logos and artwork silkscreened onto the lanyard, while woven weaves the artwork and logo into the lanyard. Of course, Silentbrick may have different options available to him depending on vendor, and I could be completely wrong.

Ooh, shiny... I think nylon is the winner, looks like it provides more detail for the logo. Unless the woven one is a lot sturdier?

I will be ordering a new set of lanyards probably today, I was finalizing the quote and while the metal is good, I don't like how the other side of the metal buckle is so I'm sticking with the metal/plastic ones. These are heavy nylon ones with the EVE Uni logo and EVE University on it, NOT ILN lanyards. I'll rework my buttons on the website once I actually have them to send out.

I do have about 7 or 8 ILN Lanyards left, so I'll have button for those but they will be first come first served. I'll get the exact number when I'm back in wyoming.

I have 11 ILN lanyards left. The new lanyards are not in yet and I'm heading out tomorrow. So it'll be a bit before I can put them up. I ordered 100 EVE Uni lanyards and I'll have buttons up for them.


Now then, I can ship in the US and Canada, but not outside. It's simply too expensive. Paying $30 shipping for a lanyard is a bit outrageous.

Once the lanyards are in I'll come up with the prices for the new ones.

Let me know if you'll buy it, we might get a bulk order instead of individual, maybe SB will send 5-6 orders out to 1 person who'll redistribute rather than multiple ones.

Well im certainly interested in lanyards of both the ILN and E-UNI ntm the pins, maybe someone flying to the states can pick em up and negate postage all together?
